Also didn’t factor in disconnections costing you a vessel earlier. Just got DCed for the first time in one and lost a vessel. Can’t imagine how people with unreliable connections feel about this system. Probably one of the worst gate mechanics they’ve ever devised.
Why do vessels even need to exist at all? Why would you even want to implement a system like that in the first place? You already gate the rate at which you can get gear and upgrades from it. Vessels are essentially like if you added limited attempts per week to raid bosses or dungeons. You don’t do it in group content, why do it in soloable content? Gating corrupted mementos serves no purpose either outside of time-gating how often you can get sockets or farm the mount. Vessels do not need to exist at all really.
