Upon reset, on Tuesday I took the time to work on catching up on my cloak as my guild has recently asked me to switch from my hunter to my tank. I am 4 weeks behind on my cloak on my Death Knight I did my 1 full clear vision then I went and killed Normal N’zoth to get the second one. I had a bug upon killing N’zoth in which I was not ported to the chamber. I zoned out and back in and was not able to loot the chest. Following, this I opened a ticket to find out that according to article 000260030 I would not be rewarded the Malefic Core through the mail or by a GM. Since considering a second core was never looted because it couldn’t be I thought maybe if I kill N’zoth on Heroic I can get my second core. Of course, this is after following the instructions of the GM who suggested I reset my UI. I killed N’zoth on Heroic and did not receive a core. So I have reopened my ticket but would love to hear from a CM.
This just happened to me too, although I killed him on Heroic.
Killed, got the ‘N’Zoth has been defeated’ pop-up, able to bonus roll… stuck alone in an empty N’Zoth boss room with no loot, no mail… I sent in a ticket but I’m not sure what else there is to do.

I just beat him on Normal to see, got loot but no Malefic Core. Assuming it’s gone this week
