noooo the zandalari are based on African and native culture (Mayan. Aztec etc.) it wouldn’t make sense to add a Polynesian dance

Not really. It’s the Gwara Gwara which is a famous South African dance.

I can’t figure it out but I don’t care for it. The fem’s dance is cool but the dudes? Ehhhhh… Reminds me of the worgen dance

Just FYI, taking the Haka would be pretty offensive to Maori culture, we tend to try and keep it from commercialisation

When will the female Kul Tiran dance be added? That weird move is clearly a placeholder, so does anyone know when the real thing will be put in?

The African dance of the female Zandalari is okay, even by the chanting of the voice of dubbing remit “Wakanda Forever”! But that doesn’t mean that both dances need to be from the same culture (just see the other races). African culture is well matched with the loas ( sèvis gine = voodoo haitian) and females dance!

Draeneis for example, the female dance refers to the Arabian belly dance, already the male dance is the classical music Tunak Tun of the Indian Daler Mehndi …

I reiterate, Male Zandalar with that of Maori Haka was going to be perfect! There is no other race in Azeroth that would best represent the Polynesian culture even though the naval fleet had that sidecar to stabilize the Polynesian Ships = Zandalari Ships!

I don’t think it’s offensive but a way to honor them in WoW. There are some similarities in the Maori tattoos with humanoid face showing the tongue that refers to the Aztec solar discs found in the Great Seal!

It’s a similar style. What about the Polynesians going to Easter Island (Moais / Rapanui) with their boat? Well it is miles away, much closer to Chile (Cradle of Inca civilization) than to Polynesia!

Maybe They have the same ancestor in common! Who knows? Maybe “Aliens” by: [ Giorgio Tsoukalos ]

I want to believe all 4 of the dances are placeholders and the real dance will be introduced april 1st, so we think it’s a joke at first and laugh about how it’s better than the real ones but the prank is the better joke dances turn out to be the real ones
