Even better you can fish from them! The ground is some places is actual flesh complete with giant hairs and lice!

I know, its great. Each zone is like a small pocket of what they really are, I wish there was more of all of them.
Not a big fan of the zone, but I do like storyline in Maldraxxus, especially Marileth’s.

It’s a realm of death, so… I’m not sure that really exists.
We should give the OP a Maldraxxi slime shot with a bowl of questionable meat product to cheer them up!

I love Maldraxxus. I actually thought it seemed kinda cheesy and cartoony when I saw all the blocky and brightly colored structures in the intro video, but they really pulled it together.

Ardenweald made me laugh my butt off, although i suspect not for the reasons Blizzard intended.
If you join their covenant one of the quests involves having Ysera get up to speed on the state of Azeroth by a bunch of bumbling pixie folk trying to explain the events of Legion after she died, and then Battle for Azeroth.

What if Maldraxxus actually does smell really, really nice? Like the bubbling black pools are just mineral heavy charcoal springs and it is absolutely fantastic to soak in after fighting in the Theater of Pain?
Remember guys, the souls in Maldraxxus are not evil, they are just fighters and combat lovers. No reason they stink. It is kind of weird that they all become zombie bone monsters though. I think Blizzard just wanted to go nuts with the Scourge models.
Most of the Pools are Blood or Fungal Slime…
Blood smells of Metal and the Slime is Fungus.
Maldraxxus smells of Mushrooms and Metal with the only black pools being in the vile malevolent House of Constructs safely away from our tender noses!

Same. For me, it has something to do with how adorably derpy some of the quests and questgivers are. How can you not find them adorable? Idk. I mean, have they not seen Kevin? Or the adorable muderdoggo? 
Edit to add: I have to say a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e one more time. I don’t think I quite got the concept across the first time round.

I found it full of humor - being an apprentice and meeting Kevin? Really well done. I also find the zone story interesting and it left me wanting more. Definitely gonna find someone to go Necrolords.
