Skinners can skin ‘warts’ in Maldraxxus too.
Literally came to say this. That was the only thing that made me turn up my nose. Otherwise I love the “Halloween land” as my niece puts it.
Actually I found Bastion questing to be one big headache and Ardenweald far too cutesy and twee for me. (there were a number of occasions I wanted to strangle Lady Moonberry, her voice was like someone scratching a chalkboard. 
)
I generally like darker themes therefore Venthyr and Maldraxxus definitely appeal more to me.
I guess it’s about personal tastes

Oh no… a zone that’s themed after death and decay to the extreme and is a place souls go to when they die.Whatever shall we do… sounds like you were except all zones to be butterfly’s and rainbows

Each zones attracts many different types. The great thing about each zone is the underlying quarks that randomly pop up.
Haven’t seen any in bastion yet, but I’m sure they are there.
Night Fae, near the wild hunt area one fairy telling another fairy how they feed an injured spriggen “his buddies” from that spring trap a week ago. Going green inferno on us now there adorable little guys?
I think they mostly have to make sure there’s no exposed bones or gore. Basically, they just put skin over everything and call it good.

Yeah I agree with you that they couldn’t do pure Norse themed again. I wasn’t disagreeing with you just being a bit random. But yeah there could have been one zone that felt a bit like Northrend. Including with perhaps ice trolls.

TBH I don’t mind its aethetics as the lore makes up for it, I don’t know if I’ll ever make someone to fit in Malraxus or not though as I prefer the other zones.
