Making world bosses instanced is a horrible mistake

One of the most fun parts of vanilla WoW is the huge world pvp battle over control of the world bosses. Part of the novelty of these bosses is the competition over the tag. You are ruining this by making it instanced.

No it isn’t its a camping grief fest nothing fun about it. Making them instanced is the best thing they can do. Why? Because it adds another endgame activity that everyone can plan their week around.

It isn’t fun, and it just goes to whichever faction is biggest and/or awake at spawn time, and it just gets zerged down anyway.

So no.

All the people with no friends and no playtime and who don’t know how to have fun will say “no it’s a great idea!”

They don’t care about the fun of world bosses, they just wanna get the loot they never had in classic and then flex it to everyone who will unfortunately not care about the consolation prize

It’s not my preference either but one man’s trash is another’s treasure.
They’ve not always chosen changes I believe would benefit the game but we’ll see on this one.

I will miss the chaos though.

Waking up for a 4:30am spawn that someone stayed up watching for is none of these things kid.

Have you talked to the average sod player? The less time they have to stay logged in the better.

Straw man, “kid”

Not all bosses spawn at 4:30am. What about the ones that spawn at 7pm? You never went to those anyways. You likely have never even participated at all, and are making excuses to justify the piñata

Just because you refused to network or join in with your faction because you are lazy doesn’t make an argument

These sod players are something else. No wonder your game is dying a violent death

That’s not how a straw man works. I gave an explicit example of how Vanilla-era world bosses could play out, which you admit is one that can occur.

Guess I can’t go, I’m in a raid.

I’ve been to both. You assume far too much kid.

Sure, what about the ones that spawn at 7pm?

You don’t need to make EVERY spawn. That’s what makes the boss and loot rare and an achievement.

But don’t worry, you can just walk in and auto attack it dead in sod!

You never participated in classic. Not a single time

No you didn’t. Not one time

Nah, this is a great change

Reading isn’t your strong suit.

I can hop on my Retail character with the FoS you could only earn in original Vanilla if you’d like… but you’ll just shift the goalposts to cry about something else.

And since you can’t read, I won’t bother continuing.

Original vanilla world bosses are NOTHING like classic world bosses.

I killed world bosses in vanilla too. On tochondrius. No competition at all.

Guess you’re boomed out now and couldn’t do them in 2019

With all the BS layering and Mega servers, this is a good move.

I like Ony and making the World Bosses instanced will give more 1 boss raid content.

I’m all for it.

must be rough to be raiding on sod every single night at 7pm, its definitely true though and not just made up because you couldn’t think of a better argument

This is a great move. These were never able to be on a rotation in the past and required 19 levels of sweat to get. I did that in Vanilla. I did it again in Classic. Glad I don’t have to do it in sod.

Indeed. The only saving grace was that most of them didn’t offer premium loot so plenty of classes could just flat out ignore them.

I’m curious to see how they change them for SoD. They’ll probably be quite a lot of fun if they get the Eranikus level makeover.

I think this change is fantastic and it allows for more people to participate with their friends and they don’t have to be super sweaty.
Does the change make you seethe? suffah.

You didn’t do any of that. Other people sat out there and scouted for your faction.

Must have been rough to just be playing the game doing whatever and getting the @ everyone in discord and whispering /inv to the raid leader who did all the hard work for you
