With the community not being what it was number wise and most definitely wont be again the developers need to link all the auction house for every realm like i get the horde and the alliance having separate factions at this point in the game but all alliance auction houses for every realm need to be the same so no matter what realm a alli player is on the auction house is the same.

we also do not need a handful of no lifers that will sit in the ah 24/7 monopolizing all the servers on 1 character.

The horde and alliance ah are combined now and have been since WoD on each server.
You must be on a dead server to think the game can handle linking all auction houses.

I just sort the biggest stacks on top and go down from there, you sometimes find better bargains that way as the lowest price of the same size stacks are on the bottom of the group.
You really think we want to wait through the lag while the AH system queries every single server in the region? No friggin’ thank you.

They already mostly do, if your ah isn’t dead there is someone playing with it. People have said before that they have 10+ characters on different servers to play the ah.
Personnaly with the wowtoken, servers economy don’t exist anymore. You’ll see people straigh buying wowtoken on low pop servers to buy black market ah rare items. Same thing with sharding, why should you be in a separate AH if you’re competing agaisn’t those people for world ressources?
Yes they could make the ah better and they should also remove any addons that work it so if people want to post 500 single items, they’ll have to do that manually. And obviously Blizzard could put a cap per account of posted items, or of the same items posted.

For sure the sucess of BFA has been a great proof of Blizzard taking great decisions.
Nothing manual about it, you can automate that amount of posting in the default auction UI.
There was more to it than just that sentence taken alone, pretty much if that’s not possible to remove (or if they don’t want to) than they could cap the amount of posts you can make on an account.
better yet why not just redesign it to be one large AH that spans every server
think of the benefits theres tons of smaller underpopulated realms with too many goods and few buyers where as some are in such high demand the whales basically created a monopoly and not everyone can afford their prices which ironically has destroyed the economy on those servers
with 1 large AH spanning them all players could offer their goods to underpopulated realms creating a more balanced and cheaper market while giving a wider selection of access since theyre reaching more players than just the confines of their own server
imo that wouldn’t be a bad thing having more trade goods available for sale to those needing them as well as more buyers for people with too many unsold older crafting mats it would effectively stimulate growth and maximize profit potential

Fortunately they won’t do that. The only thing they really need to do is require a stack size of at least 5 or so for the items where it makes the most sense. That would reduce a significant amount of load on the auction houses across the board.

There are currently 121 separate auction houses. Recently we had a BIG problem with lag. Can you imagine the lag if you combined 121 auction houses? Checking the price on 1 item would take 20 minutes. Posting 1 item for sale would take 30 minutes.
All that lag for ZERO benefit. You do not list ANY benefit, because there isn’t any.
Not that I care much. But if there is one thing horribly done on this game is the AH. Many other moms have a much simpler and better Ah. Take Osrs for example. Such an old game yet it has the best trading system I know on moms.
I think 10 months ago we actually had a different auction house.
