Making sure my new computer can run WoW

Hey all. So I’m about to buy a new laptop got a budget of $600. I’ve found this one and I would like to go and buy it but I’m worried that the specs might not support it. I’ve been cross checking specs but I’m a little unsure.

If someone who knows computers a little better could give me some help that would be great.

P.s yes it has to be a laptop as it’s my work travel computer as well.

I can’t add links in the post anymore apparently? So I’ll add in a reply

I bought one for less with intergrated graphics and im having no issues.

I can’t link in comments either but it’s called Acer Aspire 3 15.6" Laptop A315-22-40AC

The AMD UMA graphics processor uses your system’s RAM and is perfect for everyday graphics tasks including word processing, watching and editing videos and 2D gaming.
might be iffy for gaming

I bought a Dell “gaming” laptop several years ago for around 6/700$ and Classic runs great on it.

If you search up gaming laptops in your price range you’d be fine so long as you don’t need something specific for work.

my classic is running 1gig of ram atm but cheap ram should be far slower then your dedicated graphics cards memory speed

Because you have a Mac. I have a solution…

  1. Open window
  2. Hold closed laptop flat, even with the floor, about waist-height.
  3. Face away from window so window is on your rght (or left if a Southpaw).
  4. Use Macbook as a frisbee
  5. Go buy a PC

I lol’d. It’s funny because it’s true.

Yeah my MacBook is broken anyway. Was just trying to use it last night to play. This is why I AM buying a PC read the post dude

I made the post partly because I have a hatred of Macs and partly as a funny. I stand by my suggestion. Frisbee it is!

Yes classic runs so easily it’s like the characters on the show The Guild play on their laptops.

Thundathighs can you tell me the name of your laptop?

You’re probably gonna have a bad time on that laptop.

Not a laptop, it’s a refurbished PC.

This is a joke post right?!?! Anything made in the last 5 years is overkill for WoW Classic.

WoW Classic could run well on a Nintendo Switch.

I disagree with this. I have a 2015 MacBook Pro that can run WoW classic like a champ!
