they prob getting overtime pay they good homie
There are a lot of us that dont celebrate Thanksgiving.
We are also in the middle of a pandemic.
Plenty of us in the IT sector willing to work holidays for the extra pay.
And “work” just requires I move to a different room and turn on my laptop.
they made themselves work prolly huge money involved 
as an IT person, many salaried employees dont get paid extra for working overtime, even on holidays
unless the workers are outside of the USA, bad karma blizz
Find somewhere new to work, I wouldnt accept a job unwilling to pay for overtime and holidays.
Yet you will probably order out, get gasoline or visit any number of stores or shops on your way to doing whatever you are doing today and not think anything about the foodservice worker serving you.
