Currently we can take mats from the reagent bank remotely via crafting, which is great. It would be nice if we could also at least view the contents of the reagent bank remotely, if not place items into it remotely as well.
Sharing a reagent bank amongst characters on the same account/realm/faction would be cool as well, it would save the hassle of mailing between characters all the time.
There should be a few add-ons that allow you to browse your reagent bank as well as the bank for alts. Just not sure what they are called.
Engineers have access to their banks via random bots, not sure if they have access to the reagent bank. Goblins have a racial for accessing their banks. And I believe a pet from the Argent Tournament in WotLK offers bank access.
The reagent slots are accessible through Jeeves, yes.
I like to use ArkInventory, which can show you what was in your bank last time you were there, including the reagent slots.
For the Argent Tournament squire to do the bank requires the saddle thing, which costs something like 100 champion seals and is not account-wide.
Only engineers can invoke jeeves I do believe. Does that addon let you also see what another character has in their reagent bank?
It would be cool if the reagent bank opened when you open your bags, then you could then easily see what you have and transfer between the 2.
Bagnon addon allows you to view your entire bank and the banks of your alts including reagents.

no you cannot remotely place anything into it…no addon that I know of will allow you to do that.
with bagnon you will have to logon to and go to the bank of all your toons for the items to showup
In icecrown at the argent tourney once you become a champion of the argent tournament you can get a pet (for horde it is the argent gruntling) that will allow you to view your bank and add/remove stuff from it but it does have a cooldown for 14g80s and 10 champion seals
