I just completed the quest Making of a Monster, and the response from the NPC after the cinematic clearly indicated I was supposed to see something happen that didn’t happen in the cinematic. The cinematic played was Threads of Destiny.
I would like to corroborate.
Threads of Destiny is the only thing that plays and doesn’t make inference of action done to NPC in question.
Same here. When it began playing, I realized I’d seen it before and skipped it. Then I was really confused by the NPC’s response.
It was also the Threads of Fate cinematic that played for me.
Same here. I went searching around to find the correct cinematic only to find that everyone else seems to be having the same issue. Really disappointing for those of us who care about the story.
Yep, same here. Very confusing at the time
I got this impression as well.
Can confirm, as of Aug 30 still happening. Confusing and disappointing.
Same here, 8/31 still happening. I skipped it as well and was confused by the following dialogue so found it on YouTube but it was indeed the same as the Threads of Destiny cinematic.
Still the wrong cutscene…quite disappointing this type of stuff hasnt been addressed, surely they have a correct one that they just have to swap in?
Yeah, coming here to ask this again. What’s going on with this quest? How did they come to that conclusion? I mean the cutscene literally shows her being stabbed and dying, not mutated.
Ok, I had the same thinf happen. Glad u’m not crazy. Was trying to figure out how I missed that bit ofninformation.
I’m bumping this, 9/4/24, bc its still the same, and im angry this has no explanation at all. even from blizzard. hello!!! We have ZERO idea how they came to this conclusion…
Same issue is still happening on 9/5
Still the same issue on 9/6
Is the correct video available somewhere? Youtube or blizzard.com or? I’d still like to see it.
Happened to me this evening, so. Still going on as of 9/8
Any updates on this? I really would like to see the missing cinematic.
Oct 27 and still the wrong video? Bush league.
Or maybe it’s actually the correct video. I think that would be even more lame.
