Making my elf into Alliance!

I got the package from the cash shop to race change to void elf → faction change → move to MG . Will my character go from Horde void elf to alliance void elf? Want to make sure this will work because $95 is ALOT to burn coughs . Then there is my other character who may want to immigrate as well  For now, I will be staying for a few to see if my RP partner will return to game. With WoW dropping so many players, the days of RP may come to an end for all of us soon hence for reason to experience the Alliance side of things.

IIRC, I believe you get to race change to whatever race is available to that class that is faction changing.

The service sale ended March 10th, it would be ideal to just wait for the next sale which might be sometime in.the summer.

I do have to concur OP.

WoW is losing RP players to platforms which give people more character customisation which is a bit unfortunate.

I don’t know if it’s worth $95. To do what you want just the faction change and server transfer is what you need. You don’t need the race change because when you faction change it lets you choose a race of the opposite side.

Great choice btw

I think op.is.just better off making a character on Moon Gaurd to see if they like the feel of things before paying all that money.

Maybe I’m crazy, but what package?

Faction change will let you change to void elf directly, which is Alliance. With a server transfer that’s $55.

Careful not to overspend!

I think we still have a very robust RP community, for what it’s worth. I’m optimistic we’ll see a lot more in the future when housing comes along and Blizzard hopefully continues the trend we’re seeing with RP friendly toys and such.

The housing preview was interesting, you can definitely make your own bar so I’m wondering what the RP scene will look like in Midnight.

Customization really is the ultimate turnoff for WoW, and it’s such an easy win for Blizzard.

This too. You can access most transmogs at level 10, and getting a new character to cap is very easy with one of Harldan’s leveling routes (if you aren’t into Timewalking, which is slower but more multitask friendly.)

I would advise OP to avoid Goldshire Lions Inn.

Forget to mention that.

:biohazard:

I may just crate up some PvP gear when I get rating to 1800 . That is one thing cool about WoW, it is pretty quick to carve out a nice change of pace.

That costs $95? yeesh…

I think I would rather just keep the character and reroll a new one. I think that $95 would be much better spent elsewhere.

I would feel silly for paying that much, and maybe even a little unethical for enabling Blizzard to charge that.

Nah, it would cost $55. I think the OP is adding a few unnecessary services there.

That’s still quite a lot, but not as bad.

Most of the avatars you see at Goldshire are not WoW players but rather those seeking to get players to pay for web cam services of a sexual nature. Zero value for your character and ZERO value to the player behind the character ‘me’ who has a wife over in the next room.

It’s a lot cheaper to just roll a new 'toon. It really doesn’t take that long to level with Chromie Time.

And next patch will have an XP boost! Now is a good time to stock up on Darkmoon tickets (when applicable) and Draught of Ten Lands. Following a good quest route, even someone who isn’t used to speedrunning could cap in 6 hours or so.

I will probably do that with my other character. Because he is a tank, I can just dungeon level with boost and warband over some PVP gear boxes after I get my ratings to 1800. That also gives the advantage of having a hook character for the shard system.
