literally worst part of pvp. Legion was no different than bfa where pve gear clapt kids and pve raiders walk in get high rating but 2.4 being glad is so low no skill for anyone who has the mounts
Okay so few things, the number of people who have glad this season is extremely low due to the insanely low inflation, all either extremely skilled players or FoTM players, (Yay unholy dks), second have the courage to post something like this on your main, third you don’t even have glad for this season and you’re complaining it’s too easy?

I think it was bad for last season, but this season participation seems way lower, so it’s actually not that bad of an idea. Maybe it’s because I haven’t played much this season with real partners, but I got 2.3 last season and haven’t really pushed 2.1 this season. Weird flex but OK, ikr?
Gladiator should be % still, and with The Elite title introduced, that’s a good enough achievement for people that get 2.4 every season, so they’re not linking 7+ year old achievements and keeping themselves relevant.
Combination of low participation and MMR nerf makes this season much different than S1.
Hard limits don’t make much sense when rating is majorly driven by these two factors.

at the moment 2400 is something like 650 or something on ladder
by the end of this season (after july apparently)
there will probably, like last season be something like 2000 gladiators
which by the average legion participation comparison (100k give or take) makes it top 2% which is slightly higher than old duelist
I did the math about a week ago and under the old system glad cutoff would have been about 2430. Given you need 50 wins above 2400 now, its currently harder.
Like others have said rating has not (yet) inflated like it did last season.
static glad during dead seasons like this seems to be just further decreasing the amount of people playing around that MMR. nobody has a reason to queue anymore because they just rush 2.4, farm their 50 wins for glad, and unsub for the rest of the season because the game is bad
no reason to keep playing and trying for safe glad like before

Yeah having the tabard doesn’t mean you have Glad, it means he’s hit 2.4 in either 2s or 3s. Looking at his achievements he hasn’t farmed the 50 wins in 3s yet since he only has the elite achievement for S2
