Is there no way to obtain Shadowflame crests at Wyrm or Aspect to do the Enchanted Crest? I have a 424 piece and would love to upgrade it to 437 or 447 while I wait 2 more weeks for another dream spark.
You can use Enchanted whelpling crest as optional reagent with blue gear and get 447 crafted gear in every slot.
Cool, but you can’t put an embellishment on the blue pieces. Guess I’ll just wait 2 weeks. I need a toxified armor patch on a waist piece to get the full effect of my Slimy Expulsion Boots.

If you still have an enchanted wyrm/aspect crest, or enough already put together wyrm/aspect crests to be able to make an enchanted one, you can get a shadowflame piece crafted at 437/447.
If you only have wyrm/aspect fragments or sold all your wyrm/aspect crests from last season, well… rip in pepperoni.
Lol, I guess I am RIP in pepperoni. I thought since they were grey, they were junk and I sold them to a vendor.

They are junk and you were right to sell them. Only the crafted crests would remain in your inventory if you made them in advance. I don’t think the toxic patch effect scales with ilvl so you could technically craft it as a base ilvl with an old spark, you’d just have to see if it’s worth it to lose the other stats/stamina until you can upgrade it.
Yeah you can just do a 424 for the item you’re adding the patch to. The I’ll of the piece doesn’t change the effect which is “this item is infused with the power of decay” whether it’s ingenuity shadowflame or dream crafted.
