Making changes to the gearing system - an experiment

I made some tables to experiment with a different way to use upgrade tracks and current gearing system. Curious if people would prefer current system to something like this. I felt a system like this would offer a more smooth and simple progression at all levels. Feel free to comment on anything about it we got time today,
