In higher keys blood DK’s biggest weakness is the mutiple melee hits, when synchronized, they can nuke blood DK even under defensives.
Here is my idea how to fix it without making blood DK OP overall:
- New a talent / passive ability “Vampiric Reflexes” - after getting hit by a frontal melee attack, increases your parry chance by 5% for 2 seconds, stacking up to 10 times.
This will prevent us from getting nuked by numerous synchronized melee attacks without making us OP in boss fights or even trash fight. In boss fights you hardly ever get more than a couple of stacks and in trash fight even if you get all 10 stacks, becoming basically immune to melee attacks, this will only last 2 seconds, after that you lose all stacks and the cycle of getting stacks renews.
Additional thoughts on making blood DK tankier against one shots:
- Make Rune Tap less costly to use - make it generate 2-3 times more runic power and make it give us a buff increasing our rune regeneration by 50% for 6 secs or something like this , so we don’t have to lose damage & threat by pressing this ability too often. Also increasing DR effect of Rune Tap to 25% or 30% may be a good idea.
