Making a guild for alts?

I know I did this way back when. Made an alt guild with just my characters. Now you only need 4 signatures. Can you still do a trial account and sign off with 1 (or more) characters to do this? Versus begging 3 people to join and booting them once the charter is turned in?

Im just tired of the ‘do you want to join a guild’ whispers when I log in. Already turned off invites obviously.

How do you even invite yourself though?

Alt account. You have 2 games going and just alt tab back. Use the alt account to invite all your alts.

Yes, the last patch allows you to invite yourself now. You just get on the guildmaster character, put your guild up on the guild recruitment function, get on your other character to apply, get back on your guildmaster to accept then get back on that character to accept and viola.

Thats what Im not sure of. Possible to make 4 alt accounts. Easier than 10

I guess you could, although I know they can’t be starter accounts (not free, have to buy at least a month game time). Probably be cheaper to just bribe peeps with a couple thousand gold. I have an alt on thrall that just takes bribes to join, have made a few thousand gold doing that. It’s how I made this guild, which is just my alliance alts.

I tried making a recruitment ad with my guildmaster toon, and I couldn’t find it on any of my alts OR my gm toon lol. Can anyone confirm this works as a way to invite alts into your own guild?

Worst case, if you need to use an alt account anyway to invite your characters, you just stare them face to face and invite

You don’t need an alt account to do that anymore. You can invite and get invited while offline and with 1 account

Trial accounts can not sign charters. You need a fully subbed character to sign.

Havent been home to try yet. If I dont need another account to invite alts, that will make life easier

Thanks everyone. I just paid 4 people to make the guild. Already filled most of my bank slots with mats and stuff (2nd reason I wanted to make one)

Should be able to just look it up by guild name in the “Guild Finder”.

I can confirm it works, I moved around a bunch of alts out of my main guild and into my bank guild the other day without any need for other players to help (I used to have guildies create temporary toons to help me move).

The only “tricky” part is that you have to set the guild post up; then log to alt and look it up and apply; then back to guild guy to accept the application; then back to the alt to accept the accept, then likely relog again to alt guild to promote your new guy, and then back to alt to “do your business”
