So I recently had the idea of creating an Orc character with the idea that he belongs to the Frostwolf Clan, and I wanted some advice on what sort of transmog and other stuff he should have. After seeing the lords of war cinematic that talked about Durotan, I know for sure that he shouldn’t be a warrior, since warriors rely on rage, so perhaps he could either be a shaman or a monk.

Mag’har orc with the frostwolf heritage armor. shaman is a solid choice. looks good for shadowlands as well.

There are some really awesome tribal/primal sets that would work really well. There’s a helm in Antorus (citation needed, I might be misremembering) that’s kind of like the heirloom wolf pelt helm, but it’s a bear and looks 1000x cooler.

To be honest, the new Frostwolf heritage armor is better than most of that. You could definitely sub in the BoA wolfs head helm.
Oh, for sure, the heritage armor is amazing, and having different palettes to choose from is icing on the cake.

It’s a combo of hunter/shammy pieces. You want to go something that’s generally with furs to achieve a good Frostwolf theme

I think shaman is the way to go, because you can also unlock a very good wolf transmog hidden appearance in the siege of orgrimmar raid.
I always thought it would be kool to have a fur cape or wrap (that’s covers the shoulders) like what Durotan wore in WOD.

I’m ultra-jelly of Nathanos’s cloak.
Ive never look to close to Nathanos cuz hes grumpy, smells half dead (oh ya he is!) And he’s Sylvanas’s boy
It’s kinda like Maiev’s without making him look like a fridge.
Mag’har survival hunter for that warrior and pet wolf feel. Frostwolf colored heritage if you got it.

You can be a warrior and have a frostwolf pet like a real Frostwolf warrior. BM can work but it feels a lot more suiting to a Frostwolf orc to use a spear or axe as opposed to a bow. People seem to think BM is the only hunter spec sometimes. Plus, you’re going for a warrior feel with a frostwolf companion, not an archer feel with a frostwolf.
Shaman is my second pick. My green Frostwolf is a shaman and Mag’har is a survival hunter.

All Orcs rely on rage, it’s how you channel and discipline yourself that matters. Durotan lost control and learned what it meant to control one’s own fury.
I’m pretty sure all greenskin orcs get created as frostwolf orcs.
Here is mine. I currently use the Huntmaster title because I received it the last time I played him seriously but I also swap in the of the Frostwolves title sometimes. Also tame mostly wolves, although grabbed a few others here and there. Need more wolves though!
As for mog, use mostly the heritage armor, ignore the belt, need to transmog it, but I do prefer the Headdress of Inner Rage for the helm for my hunter.
He isn’t great, but I dig the style. My mag’har warrior uses the Blackrock heritage color, which goes well with his black skin, I need to get back to leveling him…
They don’t.
Ga’nar was Durotan’s brother and he was a total hothead after revenge. He was for the most part, an exception, but there are some Frostwolves who use rage. They just use discipline to not lose control.
