#MakeOrcsScaryAgain

You know what really grinds my gears in Warcraft these days? The lack of that good ol’ fashioned faction conflict! I mean, come on, Blizzard, what happened to the days when the Alliance and Horde were at each other’s throats, battling it out for supremacy?

Instead, we’re stuck in this weird limbo where the factions feel like they’re just going through the motions. Where’s the passion? Where’s the intensity? I want to feel like every Horde player I see is a sworn enemy, not just another player grinding away mindlessly.

If Blizzard won’t bring back the faction war with the force it deserves, then fine, I’ll take matters into my own hands! From now on, every Horde player I encounter is fair game. It’s time to reignite that flame of conflict, to remind everyone why we fell in love with Warcraft in the first place.

So, grab your swords, sharpen your axes, and let’s show Blizzard that the faction conflict isn’t dead – it’s just been waiting for someone with enough guts to bring it back to life!

David Attenborough: See exhibit 1 in the civilizing of the orc, where the gentleman orc and leader of the group prefers the hands-off approach to murder-death-killing. His use of the recurve bow, while more a weapon of elf-folk or man, allows him to ensure his prey is still identifiable to his kin. Whereas, had the orc regressed to a more savage mode when hunting his prey, his target may have been bloodied beyond recognition.

This tactic of primal carnage has apparently been out of vogue in the orc community for some time.

Alright. I guess I’ll just keep inviting whoever I want to my M+ groups regardless of their faction and playing PVP modes where factions are mixed. I’m pretty sure us vs. them psychological manipulation is not good for any community, so I will not be engaging with it.

I can’t wait until they finally free up the cities. There’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to gentrify orgrimmar when they finally do player housing.

Running dungeons with the homies all day?

There was something different about coming home from school and playing wow than being an adult and playing wow.

Idk it was just different.

Meanwhile Hi-Fi Rush Suffer at hand of Microsoft but sure

“boo” Did I scare you?

oh no I did not meet my scare qouta case I more upset that good game series died today case of Microsoft

Remember in BFA when that one dude said “break the cycle” because he was staring into the beautiful eyes of Jaina Proudmoore? That was the devs telling all of us there is no more Horde or Alliance. No-one is bad anymore. “Bad” guys are just misunderstood or exploited people lashing out against colonialism or something.

There can’t really be any enemies that resemble real world counterparts. They have to be amorphous, generic, soulless monsters who look nothing like real evil. There is real evil in the modern world. There used to be real evil in Warcraft. Now, it’s just soy boys crying to strong women about how scared they are about this or that. And, endless conversations about feelings. If there is something scary in the game, it’s awaiting the next long winded cutscene with a soy boy whimpering to a sexless, soulless, strong female.

Wasteland orcs?

I used chat GPT to make an orc in broken power armor in the fallout universe. I could dig this.

The orc fighting a rad scorpion with the broken power armor and an energy gun.

Anyway sorry I didn’t mean to get too derailing. I just thought with the whole “make orcs scarier” bit that setting them in a waste land would be a neat idea, especially since Microsoft owns both franchises.

looks back at the original Warcraft where orcs were eating humans in stew pots

Man. The retcon road has been long and winding.

I hath battled in a field of Karen’s. The part of my brain the fears has long since shriveled to dust.

You’d probably make man stew if you were that out of your mind on demon blood too.

Besides, tastes like pork.

Warcraft 3.
