Title says it all. Keep this going. Make monks interesting again by making zen flight act the same as flight form does.
No reason for this to not happen at all. Fight me if you think so.

technically speaking, it would be directly superior to flight form if it were just to have the movespeed buffed to mount speed, since there’s a few things you can do with zen flight that are pretty unique (cast essence font, fish, etc)
that being said… i really want it to be fast again. it used to be back in mop i believe but druids complained that it made flight form not as special iirc

I’m OK with it being superior to druid flight form. Fishing from my zen cloud makes me feel like one of those turtles on a cloud from Mario. It’s awesome.

Originally it was just flight form for monks in beta MoP, however druids cried so hard it got nerfed. Then later it got nerfed over and over again.
No reason it shouldn’t be full flight speed

I second this! I wouldn’t even care if they take away the abilities we can do on zen flight! Just make it 310% speed

Go to peak of serenity (into the past if over 100) and talk to one of the vendors at the little tents. He sells the spell

It was faster in MoP but never as fast as flying mounts. They just made it slower for some reason.
It was not. It’s always been 60% on Live. Only beta had a faster version. However first iteration combat didn’t break it nor did the shell, so naturally everyone not a monk cried and it was nerfed.
Even though people been crying heavier about flight form.

As a druid I’m all for this, Monks are a cool and super underrepresented class. Although I generally think all classes should get more cool unique little things like this.

They should make it more special than flight form. Look at class populations of druid and monk. We are basically torturing ourselves by continuing to play monk. Give us special stuff! Stop taking it away.
I learned yesterday that you can also feed the birds in Freehold while you’re on your zen cloud. One more reason why the zen cloud is #1!
If they were to do this then they would also need to make it so taking damage doesn’t kick you out of zen flight. Still, I want this to become a thing so please add it blizz!

The little cloud reminds me of the flying Nimbus from Dragon Ball, and that old monkey cartoon with the big red staff. I guess there’s a lot of lore that goes into flying on clouds and being in martial arts.
I wouldn’t mind a faster form of the mount, or a mount of that cloud specifically.

I think they should make it usable in combat so we could have our own liftoff like spell. Especially cus any damage breaks it.
