Hey,
A new horrible idea from GD to add to the list of things that will kill the game.
Tell me, would you work for free? Because I sure wouldn’t.
Well if they take 2 years and dont release 9.1 subs will go way down and bliz will run out of money, and wow will die and everyone will be out of a job anyway. I also didn’t say to not pay the workers, but if money gets tight they have to pay them less, or reduce bonuses etc.
Also, most other games can survive without a sub fee. The sub fee is mostly just for bobby’s bonus.
I can still read that.
(Takes another shot)
If they do that i’ll take it i aint got nothin to lose XD
Expansion has only been out for five months.
Worst statement today.
So in other words you have no idea what you’re talking about. Ok.
If it was free, what would be the difference in unsubbing or not. They still wouldn’t be getting any money out of you.
Nope, advertising does that. Cant encourage someone who doesn’t even know about it
Making it free and unsubbing are the same thing…either way, blizzard isn’t making money
Putting a financial burden on a company does not incentivize its workers to work faster. But instead adds stress and causes poorer quality work to be had.
How about you just slow down on the rate at which you consume content, then the developers can keep going at their own pace. Why is it a them issue and not a you issue?
all paladins will be op with that new change in judgement… honestly, who would want to play 9.1 anyways… 17 days till my subscription done and im done with this pos game
It is free up until 20 I thought.
That’s more than enough to see if a person likes it or not.
That’s very disappointing… Just think of all those poor 20-60 year old kids playing WoW right now… WE’RE SUFFERING AUDREEANA!
Not really given its a completely different game once you hit max level and you also don’t have all your talents and abilities at 20. Really you don’t know anything but how to - in my case - hit 1 and 2 for frostbolt and fireblast.
But regardless of that, while I’d like free game time it’s probably not a great idea.
They don’t care about money. They only want to see us have fun
Oh boy…ok let’s see.

Let’s put those entire post in the “Another Bad Idea” category.

That’s actually a fair argument. Could see them adding maybe 10 to 20 levels of play near max level like a longer class trial.
Never ceases to amaze me that people in GD think they have the solution to “save” WoW, the hubris is staggering.
I’m no Blizz sycophant, but seriously guy(s) stop acting like you need to be heard for the sake of the game/company.
I’m a dev myself and I can say that it doesn’t make a difference unless your meetings aren’t handled by a good video call software.
Meeting face to face or meeting online doesn’t make a difference if you’re just going to use technology (powerpoint or something) to present your findings or ideas.
I do agree meeting face to face has it’s advantages.
