Make The Level Boosts Fun, Not Consumable

So I’m not a fan of the boosts, like at all, but there’s a compromise I think both sides could make.

I started multi-boxing in Classic WoW, and noticed the tremendous advantage you get in that game. Also, I’ve played this bloody game since 06, and have finally after all these years realized that that “Follow Character” feature has been a tease this entire time to get you to buy another account. Classic WoW more heavily incentivizes you to buy an extra account to multi-box another priest or whatever to follow you around, cast buffs, and heal you.

Overall,
Multi-boxing is a sloppy, but I think better than an outright buyout of gold or a level boosted character. Because although multi-boxing is still technically pay to win, it at the very least could be something more like pay and play to win.

TL:DR
DO:
Pay, play, win

DONT
Pay, skip win

No, thanks. Both suck.

Well now I’ve seen it all…a multi-boxer upon moral high ground. Astonishing indeed.

Bro, the combat systems in MMOs back in 04 were just a bit more engaging than EarthBound SNES. I don’t have to aim, don’t have to avoid player collision, barely need to be facing enemy, and my rotation is a sequence of 3-4 buttons based on class. “follow character” mule, buff follower, healer, etc…

Vanilla WoW was designed for multi-boxing, just realized that the purpose of the “follow character” button was intended for multi-boxers after almost 2 decades.

Hrumph
