I’ve played solo, small groups and large groups. Plagued with griefing, events are so slow and boring.
You basically make a set that’s “essential” for Naxx otherwise you’ll be gatekept out of Naxx for not enough sanctified items.
Atleast make the chest piece BUYABLE with runes, or have the shade drop a token we can exchange for the chest piece.

My method for getting the chest was to assemble a 5-man party of different armor types and roles, such that we all needed different chests, and then go to one of the out-of-the-way invasion maps that stays mostly deserted (not EPL). We cleared a few shards, and a few of us got the chest we needed.

ive ran kara every day
ive got over 1000 remnants also, ive killed an accumulative today of approximately 50 shades and seen the plate tanking chest drop once, which went to a druid because hey lets just let everyone roll on it. make it purchasable even if its for a larger amount of necrotic runes. the system is garbage.

Chest buyable or reduce the set bonus to two.
Myself and 4 guildies found an untouched crystal in winterspring, 5 manned it down to 6% when 30+ alliance spawned into it and took all the shadow of doom tags.
Its just absurd.
Sitting on 120 runes and cant even get the cultist turnin, waste of time tbh.

And hey lets add some t3 to the vendor and also all the bis items i need from naxx! RNG sucks if you don’t get it then you don’t get it. Stop asking for everything to be put on a vendor. They already put gloves on the vendor and the bracers are boe. If you cant spend the time to farm the chest then it’s not for you simple as. Hope you have a great day Midgetpoon

Agreed. Like seriously everything JUST came out. I’m missing 3 items from crypts and part of me is glad it’s taking awhile and I have loot chances to loot forward to. Just enjoy the journey stop trying to make all the new content dried up after less than a week. The logs aren’t even gonna matter until we are max difficulty anyway…
Exactly - I don’t get this whole mentality of freaking out when you don’t get BiS from new content in like under a week.
Because guilds are already saying have this or you are greifing our first naxx raid. Never before did you need to do a whole new gear farm after having bis from the previous raid.

What’s worst… losing the cloth dps chest 7 times… or lose the healing chest to a mage unable to trade it to you after because it’s soulbind? 
If there is one thing that should have personal loot… it’s that.
Kara is on a 24 hour lockout but you need 7 items out of kara (5 if you’re lucky in the world with bracer/chest drops). I have a ring to show for 0 missed lockouts. I will be an active detriment to my raid team due to how sanctified scaling works if I don’t get enough sanctified pieces. I have seen ZERO dps chests or bracers. I have put off buying the bracers because they have been 200g for days.
Maybe, they shouldn’t lock an incredibly broken, 100% REQUIRED, borrowed power system behind a 24 hour lockout. And yes, REQUIRED. You are REQUIRED to have sanctified to progress Naxxramas hard modes.
God you people are such rats lmao. It’s a SEASONAL SERVER, where nothing we’ve gotten or done will matter in the next year. They could literally rain loot from the sky so that every character that raids gets full bis for every possible spec they might want to play in 5 lockouts, and it would still be fine. I thought we were supposed to DISCOVER. I’ve been playing 1 dps spec the exact same way since P4.
Instead we have bad players sitting on the forums acting superior while their logs are public.
Anyway, here’s the real solutions to fix this trash event. All the set items should’ve just been tokens. Since they wanted to like 4x the amount of items for no reason. Real cool seeing nothing but tank lock chests and hpal bracers every single drop.
I don’t think the 3 set will be mandatory for the first couple of weeks depending on your class.
Most sanctified gears from Kara are on tier set slots so there will be a strong competition between the sanctified bonus and tier set bonuses.
By week 2 or 3 with the sanctified bonus being stronger we’ll certainly have to make the switch but chances are by then the chest will be buyable with necro runes and hopefully we’ll have all our pre-bis Karazan by then.
I get that the event is frustrating though. Had to farm for a while for my chest (seems like plate dps has a terrible drop-rate on top of being quite contested).
Sanctified is a dps upgrade with rank 2 of the naxx toy/trinket/whatever. By such a margin that a healer belt with 0 dps stats is better than wearing a tier piece for a 4p bonus.
If they didn’t want people to be frustrated maybe they shouldn’t be braindead.
Work smarter not harder. I gotten mine on all 4 of my alts just by going to wintergrasp solo. Dont join a raid with other cloth users. Find a shard that has 5man or so only. At 2% spam turn in with automate quest turn in. Kill doom and loot your chest. Took me a dozen attempts at the most to get my desired chest.
The cloth user thing doesn’t even matter. People have been needing on every item that drops regardless of whether they can equip or not. Regardless of BoE status too. Really funny hearing warriors lose the first plate dps chest they’ve seen to a feral druid.
Just killed another 12 shades back to back with a 10 man group.
5 plate chests
6 leather
1 cloth healing.
Great game.
In the group were 6 clothies all chasing the same dps chest which is a REQUIREMENT to raid naxx due to the sanctified gear.
Just let us buy the dam chest.
