I’m sure other people have asked for this, but I also wanted to make a post about this. Can we please just make the Cracked Titan Gem purchasable with Bullions? The expansion is only 4-5 months away from being done, and I think just letting everyone have the legendary at this point is really not going to make that big of a difference; similar to how legendary items were handled at the end of Legion. Thank you!

The evoker leggo really irks me with how it was handled in its acquisition. Way too low of a drop rate for a low repped dps class (both specs). At this point most of us just won’t get the gem and raid mats in time to even enjoy it.
What is there to enjoy about the legendary? Kharnalex and some other bullion weapons are simply better in that regard

I’m not talking about a pure numbers perspective. I’m referring to having the weapon and being able to use it in current content. There’s a sense of pride/joy when you get a legendary and wear into battle during that expansion.
By the time some of the evokers get their gem, we’ll have to turn right around and replace it the next day. I’m talking anecdotally of course. But you get the gist. It would feel like next to useless besides mog for all that wasted time trying to farm it in order to use it currently.
This is the only reason to farm the legendary while caring about the timeframe you get it.
Last I checked, the legendary is about 3-4% improvement over the alternatives. It’s not trivial.
Not as impactful as Fyralath, but still impactful.
They should have buffed the bad luck protection, or even better, put it at the bullion vendor for like 8-10 bullions.

Yeah though I have the Lego, I don’t see the harm in them doing this.
It’s still a significant investment and at bis gear it’s still over 20k DPS.
I got it on my first lfr attempt last week I already have everything minus 6 fragments from the raid and like 100 vistages if they just made it purchaseable for boullions you could easily acquire it in 1 week if you know the right people but the average person can get it in 2 if I would have qued lfr last week after getting it I could have had all my fragments but would be short on vestiges due to play time.
What in the wide wide world of sports does this even mean?
What i enjoy about the legendary is that it is not Kharnalex. I’m tired of items that have cast times or channel times or both like the dumb egg staff.

The complete rng nature of such a valuable item is kind of lame
As someone who was lucky enough to get several rare drop mounts a decade ago, it doesn’t bother me when their drop rates are increased or made a trader post item, or just outright made purchasable via a currency like in MoP remix.
Legendary would be nice, if I get it ill get it (before expansion is over) if I don’t then no big deal. But I do understand how bad it feels to be a “have not” for those that do care. Like others have said it’s not nearly the upgrade the plate dps weapon is, but it’s still something people would like.
What I don’t understand if the “leaked” info about drop % is true, why is the evoker legendary guaranteed drop 40+ weeks when the axe is only like 15?
Because they don’t care. We’re going into TWW beta this week. They really don’t care about what’s happening in DF. Don’t expect any meaningful development or dev attention on the throwaway filler final season of an expansion that’s about to phase out.
Please make it purchasable. Edited to add, just ran yet another heroic for the week. Not a single gem dropped for the entire raid of 15-20+ evokers.
I’ve come to terms that I wouldn’t be getting the evoker legendary,
since pre-patch and TWW is around the corner.
At least I’ve seen other evokers get it (on heroic. never seen it drop in LFR or Normal).
I just hope there aren’t any RNG legendaries in TWW.
I also hope the legendary quest line is still completable next expansion to get the transmog.
It’s impactful because it is almost entirely based around helping your party do better.
In terms of actual dps, Kharn is either the same or better than Naz’uro for an infinitely easier acquisition path.
I actually really hate legendary weapons.
That’s the first thing I said about Nasz’uro. The absolutely low drop chance for a BIS item for a class that’ll just be replaced the next season is not something I like.
The 100% drop chance is at 40 attempts. I just don’t like that, combined with TWW just around the corner, when you eventually achieve the legendary, it’ll be outdated and replaced with the next season’s gear.
Just not a fan.

This is unequivocally incorrect.
The legendary sims around 21k personal DPS higher than kharn, not even including the buff going to party/raid members.
Not game breaking if you can’t get it, but convincingly better.

I don’t like the gimmick items.
Some Devastation guides have Nyume trinket and Kharnalex as BiS, meaning you get a staff with a channel, and a trinket with a channel. It’s like 10 seconds before you can actually start playing your class after the pull
