It is being moved to the Black Market AH instead of remaining in its current format.
So you can either buy it now for 5 million or you can hope it shows up on the BMAH and you get it competing against other bidders.

Assuming they go with your suggestion, do people who already have it get 4 million?
I’ve already built up gold since buying it a while back, but I can do a lot with 4 million gold. 
It would suck for players who bought it for 5M if they lower the price to 1M.

Prices for things go down all the time without everyone who has ever purchased at a higher prices getting a refund.

Yes, that is what I rely on to make gold.
However I’m sure you could see this is ‘slightly’ different given how much the mount is.
I encourage anyone disappointed or upset with the upcoming change to write a lengthy letter using the In-game-Help-Feedback option, I have heard it gets far more attention than the actual forums.
Is the BMAH still capped at 1mm gold, or was that ever increased? Players can hold 10mm now, correct?
