So I have 3 accounts. But not for summoning purposes.
Back in the day, there were toon limits per realm, so if I wanted to have more alts on the same realm, I needed to have multiple accounts. Now here we are 12 -15 years later and those limits are removed, but I’ve got cool gear, achievements, and mounts spread out across 3 accounts.
i pay 1g typically they will accept anything even if not posted price and if they argue with me then they get nothing. take it or leave it lol. only time ill pay like 2-3g if its somewhere crazy annoying to get to and not a popular spot
I just post where i am looking to get to and how much ill pay, typically 50s to 1g take it or leave it. (They alawys take it cause its free money especially once the lock get the summon stone)
I don’t know when it happened, but I remember a time when Blizzard created battle.net or whatever, and allowed you to merge your accounts that you owned. At that time, I also had like 3 and merged mine into 1.
Sucks you didn’t get that option bro, that would of really helped you out.
I’ve never paid for a warlock summon (as in I’ll take them to an instance if a warlock is offering, but not going to pay for one to a random spot or city)
As my main and main alt are druids (yes Druid main, and main alt is also a Druid) I have had pretty good mobility on my feral since level 20 and my Balance druid since 30… but my classes that don’t have run speed improvements, Oh I feel the run time difference between places, and I understand why some people would forgo that in favor of a summon.
I’m the same. My friend will take Mage ports or Warlock summons almost every place he goes. Even as a slow Warlock, I go to every location myself, for over 20+ years.
Like you, I take the ports out of an instance with my group, or I’ll take a summon to the instance with my group. But, I don’t look for or request them outside of these circumstances.
You would be amazed at what code can do for a program.
I hope someone with more knowledge will post the answer for us, as to when Blizzard did this. To my knowledge, I feel like it was when they created the Battle.net or sometime like that.
It was many years ago, so not recently.
Yes, going into a PvE dungeon and fighting computer controlled enemies. When instead, I’m in BGs or the open world, fighting and interacting with real players.
I don’t care to spend hours doing something I do not want to do, in order to save $15, let alone $15x3
Right? So much freaking entitlement. Don’t want the service at that price? Don’t use it, it’s not like a real life utility.
But to use it with promise of payment and then not pay? Feel sorry for people around them. This type of entitlement doesn’t end with the video game. It’s a mentality.
