Make Soulshapes Account Bound!

As I was levelling my alts and choosing their covenants it occurred to me after talking to Lady Muunn that soulshapes are not account-bound

Which is a strange thing to not be account bound since soulshapes are pure cosmetics same with the back pieces of transmog

I would understand if story-tied shapes wouldnt be account-bound (like the unicorn soulshape) but shapes that you purchase through anima and shapes collected through rares should be account-wide

Agreed!!! I was leveling my alt and I wanted to use the nightsaber soulshape on him since he’s a night elf but I couldn’t use it on my alt. I was a bit disappointed.

This is another shocking example of how horrible the devs think things out.

Shadowlands is “alt friendly” they say. Nope. Grindy as hell for one toon let alone multiple.

Make the sanctum upgrades account wide while you’re at it too. Imagine spending that much anima multiple times

Just curious, but why do you folk choose the same covenant for your alt, instead of experiencing a new one?

I’m not saying one is better than the other.

I think it should be so long as your alt is also of night fae covenant. Wouldn’t want a buncha non night fae running around as a equine soul lol.

Just here to bump this up because I’m having the same issue with a new alt… I have so many soulshapes unlocked on one toon, but this one has none D:

I want wolf soulshape for a warrior/shaman RP. I just looked into how to get rep for the lupine soulshape on a new character that has not been to SL.

Ah the old night fae SL complaint. We complained about this from the very start of SL, but here we are years later and it still falls on deaf ears. It’s super strange that some extreme low hanging fruit like this never got addressed by blizz but…here we are. Blizz is unlikely to ever change it.

bumpity bump bumpity i would like account wide soulshapes because i am lazy and also limited to 24 hours in a day and about 1 of those hours i feel like doing anything with my life but i’m serious i really do want this for me and other people so we can be the soulshapes we earned
