Yeah, so imagine all of the novoice/scuffo alts queueing in one pool only against each other, then premade groups in a separate pool only queuing against each other. That’s either one convoluted bracket or two separate game modes. That is more complicated than just automating LFG and causes more problems.
In the end it’s all a matter of mmr. I played some novoice at like 2400 then voice at 1900. 
The only thing that’ll feel bad is awful compo like if you get arms/sub vs a real team.
But then again it’s not like 3s doesn’t suffer from horrible matchups and shuff horrible lobbies/gameplay so in the end it might be a worthwhile compromise for reasonable game quality and queues.
And that’s part of what you’re agreeing to by flex queueing. It will eventually get harder and harder to win and you’ll probably want to use regular LFG to find real partners for a push. But for the bottom two thirds of the ladder who are predominantly playing with random partners anyway, this just makes the process easier and faster. There will just be more arena games played, which means more inflation for everyone.
This could also be solved if all the 2800 exp shuff/blitz 1600 cr players pressed q with each other

They won’t unless you make it really easy for them. They are who the flex queue system would be aimed at. Get them to play actual arenas sometimes.

Yeah, as if healing shuffle isn’t unfun enough. Let’s force people to heal rando qualifer dps in 8 minute 3s rounds with no damp vs mglad premades at 2k. So instead of losing at 75% damp you get to just go OOM every round instead. Q times go up for 99% of dps players and they still won’t get invited in lfg but at least kennie can stomp unsuspecting noobs easier and force billy’s dad to buy a selfplay from remi.
Shuffle has pulled the cat out of the bag for healers. They can go play dps like everyone else and see how awful healing has been the entire time.

then that’s not adding a flex queue to solo shuffle, silly. that’s adding yet another way to queue to further reduce the pool of players available to traditional 2v2/3v3, unless you also think that random queues should be matched against premade teams.

You keep saying this, but you’re not really connecting it to your point.
I think that this suggestion appeals to a lot of people, but would alienate a lot more than it would help. You can’t unring the shuffle bell, and I think that the slight pros or potential improvements over the current shuffle format would be far outweighed by people being upset by the cons (i.e. 2-3 bad lobbies in a row or complaining about “premades” even when they wouldn’t be 90% of the time).

If solo shuffles would get rid of the “solo” aspect of it, and make it 1 round only, and able to be queable as any arena size, then that would increase participation. Do you not realize just how small the pvp playerbase actually is now? We can’t have 2 different arena ladders and expect both of them to be active (i’m referencing 3v3’s.) I have a buddy i play with, but I hate 2’s. I also hate sitting in LFG going through dps after dps as they leave after the first loss, or we sit in LFG for an hour, only to never actually que a match.
If you’re looking for how to connect it to those, is that in each of those games you have a solo/duo/trio’s/and quad’s que (minus league with is flex/solo and duo) but in those, you are able to que alone and have the option to fill out the rest of the party. It should be the same for 3v3 arenas. Make it where you can que as 1,2, or 3 people and get rid of the seperate ladder. As much as i’d love to say pvp participation is high, it just isn’t. it’ll never be what it once was so we need to increase participation where we can.
Would it actually increase participation, or would it just increase the amount of matches found by nature of having to queue 6 times as often to accomplish the same thing
3v3 and solo queue should be merged and made into just 1 round instead, with an option to queue again with the same team.
I can only speak for myself, but i’m sure there are others who feel the same way, but i am not a fan of healing solo shuffles. I would much rather be able to que into it with a buddy of mine (if it was a 1 round format) and have the game auto fill that 3rd person, or que up as 3 and play against 3 other players(these people can be qued solo/as a group etc.) I also haven’t played a lot of rated 3’s as me and a buddy of mine have found ourselves sitting in LFG for hours playing maybe 5-10 matches before people end up leaving, or we just sit there trying to find another dps. this would be nice to just log on, and que 3’s together without having to spend time sitting in LFG.
I wish there was an arena mode where you could queue wih your friends, if only blizzard had tought of about that.

Get rid of solo or arena is dead. They already have this it’s called skirmish.
Keep splitting the playerbase into two different brackets of 3’s, look how much it’s helped.
get rid of rated 3v3 and keep solo shuffle only
