Tank isn’t exactly what I had in mind when thinking about playing Priest.
For good reasons.
Lets be honest. What it needs is for them to actually communicate with people rather than hide and try to run the clock out while they try to play ‘rope-a-dope’ with their customers. What do I mean by this? Simple.
What I Expect as the Official Response to Priests:
"Oh we WANTED to revamp Priest… …Really! We tried to listen!. …But we just didn’t have enough time or resources… Honest!! (Even though we play this trick every expansion.) For now here’s some buffs! (…Which I assure you, I will quietly remove over the course of 9.1 and 9.2 once I’ve placated your more gullible players into silence long enough so we can lock you into a year or more of miserable design).
Also on a happier note we got Mage’s Spell Animation revamps finished!! : D : D : D : D
( Omg are these people serious…? Actually viable Shadow Priests? LOL. What a retarded concept. That’s the kind of stupid Xelnath or the old Devs would of supported. Geez, why can’t they just shut up and heal? 2 Heal Trees should be a clue on what their supposed to do.)"

Id like to see Shadow step away from Void Form.
I know people use to mock Shadow Priests for being inferior affliction warlocks, but there’s room for two dot focused drain dps in the game.
While I agree that Shadow needs some serious love, creating a priest tank sounds bizarre. We already have a Light-powered tank, it’s called a Paladin.
Rather just ask that Blizzard fix the issues with Shadow, or play a Paladin.
It’s become a huge fool me once red flag how Blizzard has continually over promised on priest design and continues to do nothing about Holy and Shadow and when they do make SOME changes they’re just random tweaks that has the entire priest community wondering what kind of 4D chess game Blizzard is playing.
This is why you do not see my Priests. Oh I have them still, but will I play them? No. They are relegated to RP toons until Blizzard gets serious and stops playing games with their players.

They promised a rework for Shadow in 8.1, we didn’t get it because they said they’re against mid expansion reworks.
Now we’re about to enter 9.0. Where is it??? Why is voidform still in the game?
In its current state, I can play Shadowlands spriest right now. Just log onto live and take off your Azerite pieces and neck. (the crutch keeping shadow above holy priest dps btw 
)

Is this a DH player posting on a priest? Only DHs make threads like this.
They should just make Demonology Warlock a tank spec since they don’t know what they are doing with it anyway since Demon Hunters exist and they keep reworking it 
There’s nothing wrong with Void form itself, but Blizzard is making some questionable choices regarding how certain abilities fit into the SPriest’s rotation.
The idea that Void Bolt can be shot out while using Mind Flay just seems funky to me for reason I can’t quite explain.
Questionable is being nice.
I believe it to be intentional and malicious now, and on par with all the things that happened to Warlocks back in WoD due to the Xelnath incident. I say that because unless there’s a degree of underpinned malice involved, you don’t do this to your players for 4 years, and then lie wholesale repeatedly.
They always ‘talk’ about revamps, but it’s a white-wash of rubbish at this point. They have no intention of following through IMHO. When players become aware of this, then start playing the “Blue Silence” game, exactly as they are on Alpha. Look up my post history, I’ve pointed this out before and begged a hundred times for communication. Not for buffs. Simply for DIALOGUE on the same level as other classes enjoyed.
Annesh put a huge WoD Write up together. It got totally ignored. Mage got 7 Blue replies. Druid 15. Legion? Same thing. Annesh cited every flaw in Voidform. Totally ignored. They claimed they ‘listened’ (which was another lie), but really wanted to try this. Fast forward to BFA. Same thing again.
Annesh posts her thoughts, so did others, and they ran the clock out again. Claimed they had ‘no time’. That’s horsecrap too. Then they said “Mid-Expansion revamp in 8.1.”. Nope. Another lie “wait till next expansion”. We’re waiting. We know what they will do. There’s a trend to this. But if you want further proof…
8.3: Old God heavy patch. Did Priests get crap for Glyphs? Nope.
8.2: Water heavy patch. Did Mage get Glyphs? Why yes, Of COURSE, my love.
Um no. Revert to the beginning of MoP. Done.
