Make replica sets learnable by any class

I don’t understand / care for the justification of keeping the replica sets under a weird lock down that doesn’t allow you to learn all classes sets after achieving 1800 on one. Nobody is going to farm 1800 on each class to get their sets and there’s no excuse for not changing them.

Partly so you don’t just play the (at the time) most powerful class and unlock everything, and partly so people keep playing throughout the season, rather than hit 1800 on one character then stop, leaving people who are playing later in the season with no one to play against.

Or, at the least…If i unlock 1800 on my warlock, i would like at least the cloth variants.

Same with plate → mail → leather

would be nice to not have to pull my hair out in Rated Blitz trying to get 1800, i already got 1800 on my warlock years ago

There’s a dedicated community for both. Most players are already hitting 1800 and stopping so there would be no change. Aside from that people will still play seasonally since most collect the elite mogs. Just make them learnable by all classes and take the W instead of irritating people with bad design decisions.

Nah it’s better the way it is now, if you really want the elite set colour palettes you can easily hit 1800 on that class.

If you didn’t play that season tough, you’ve got other palettes to easily pickup down the line when the raids are tagged as “legacy” in LFR/N/H/M and base Conq variations the expansion afterwards in their ensembles.

You didn’t even bother to read the conversation… With the tmog changes becoming more free (u can collect items regardless of gear type / weapon type) they seem to have forgotten the replica sets. Nobody in their right mind will do 1800 on each class for their respective sets. Elite sets are irrelevant to the topic aside from me explaining that activity will not change if they alter replica sets to remove the restriction that forces you to be that certain class to learn it.

Keep rating requirement to unlock the replica sets, just toss the outdated idea of not being able to learn all the replica pieces after unlocking them on 1 char.
