Mythic plus dungeons reward basically zero loot for end of dungeon. By the time you are doing a +20, 405 ilvl loot at the end of dungeon is completely irrelevant.
Basically, mythic plus players get zero loot every time they complete a dungeon. The only loot a mythic plus player gets is the ONE PIECE PER WEEK FROM THEIR VAULT.
We need to make raids stop rewarding so much high ilvl loot. Every time a raid kills a mythic boss, they get MULTIPLE PIECES OF MAX ILVL BIS LOOT.
I say, remove ALL LOOT FROM RAID BOSSES, and only give raiders one piece of loot per week in their vault SAME AS MYTHIC PLUS PLAYERS.
Trolling on the WoW forums is like trying only to eat one pringle. One troll thread is never enough when you can make them over and over again all day.
RAID bosses drop multiple pieces of max ilvl bis loot.
Mythic plus end of dungeon drops irrelevant ilvl.
The only loot a mythic plus player gets is from from their weekly vault: one piece of gear.
Change raiding loot rewards to be the same as mythic plus: the only loot a raider should get is their one piece from the vault.
Also, which raid boss drops in difficulty if you fail to kill it? HINT: none of them.
If you have a 20 key and then fail it, you get a 19 and have to work that key back up to a 20.
Raiders just walk in and wipe on a boss 10,000 times and can keep trying, while getting the same rewards.
Mythic plus players get one chance at their key.
I mean, if you really wanna make raiding and mythic plus the same, then once a raid wipes on a mythic boss, have that boss’s difficulty lowered for the week and have it turn into a heroic boss, wipe on that and it turns into a normal boss, wipe again and it turns into a LFR boss.
If a mythic raid group wipes on a boss, they should lose their one chance to get mythic ilvl loot from that boss, same as when a mythic plus player fails a key.
You definitely don’t get 3 drops with any regularity anymore after they raised the max loot drops from 15 to 20. This was something we were talking about in my push group, it is infinitely harder to farm avoidance gear. A 22 is roughly equal to what a 25 as before, which is 2.4 pieces of loot, as opposed to 4 pieces of loot in SL. Valor upgrading is also worse this season as well for a similar reason.
M+ is not really the loot gravy train it was before. Just about every semi-competent raider has 4-pc set bonuses and a 408-410 ilvl. I have 0 tier and 412 ilvl. Tell me how great M+ is again.
fair, and I’ll say again I’m solidly on the “open the catalyst week 1 or 2 of mythic” team. it’s absolutely stupid they gate it as hard as they do.
To be perfectly honest, as a raider that typically doesn’t get to far into Mythic raiding this would be a bonus. I would still have access to heroic raid level gear, I could upgrade it, I could farm it because just like mythic+ there would be no loot lockout and I would get mythic raid level gear in the vault (with the ilvl bump mythic+ sees).
So as a typical heroic raider, not seeing much of a down side here.
I never said other wise, I said I would enjoy the fact that it would be higher ilvl then the raid content I am doing. Just like how your mythic+ vault is higher ilvl then the actually keys you completed.
