Make quest NPC's a No Toy Zone

There is no benefit to the player base in allowing toys be placed on top of NPC’s. It has no positive impact on the game and would be a simple fix. It’s a common problem and always highlighted during the Winter Veil time frame when presents are to be opened.

Why give a platform to people whose only goal is to create obstacles for others?

I appreciate your consideration.

They also need to make Quest NPCs a no mount zone. It’s so annoying when people are on their mounts around an NPC. They make it harder to follow the story because you can’t see what they are doing.

Being a nuisance to strangers on the internet is a large part of WoW’s charm.

Being annoying isn’t a problem. The problem is creating a literal obstacle or barrier that prevents someone else from enteracting with the game.

They do this for a lot of important quest npcs at expansion launch.

And it seems like a great idea until you fly by one 2 expansions later and get dismounted and thrown off a cliff.

I think a better fix for Toy’s, so that Blizzard can stop with the arbitrary 8-24 hour cooldowns on some toys that only last for 5-20 minutes… is to make all of them only appear to the player, unless They’re purely cosmetic to the player’s character and/or if you’re within the same group as that player. This way, they can drop the CD’s on the toys.

This way, the only players affected by them placing a toy on an NPC, is that player themselves. Unless you’re in a group with them, well then you can blame that friend for putting the toy down.

This change, would also make those pesky people who put out things like the turnip, are again the only people that will be affected by said turnip.

If there was an achievement for killing a thousand trains with a train wrecker, I think I’d have it by now.

Never! Despite the odd attention seeker who never got enough love from mommy, most people use toys socially for fun. Like keeping the crowds entertained between anniversary events, or while waiting for other content to start.

I miss dropping the Moonkin Statue next to the Auction House, dozens of confused moonkins suddenly popping up and dancing.

I have not noticed this. People are always mounted up around quest NPCs.
