Please make players in RDF dungeons reportable. As I’ve been gearing my new 85s I’ve been dealing with players who roll need on everything that drops off the last boss, including gear they can’t equip. This, coupled with tanks who refuse to do entire dungeons makes it extremely difficult to gear new characters. Not everything can be bought with valor points. What is the point of the epic gear in the troll dungeons if people roll need on everything and tanks won’t do all the bosses?
You’ll have a way better time making a full clear group manually on your realm, and then queuing.
After a few weeks of new content 95% of RFD is valor spam
None of what youre describing is reportable behavior that Blizz is going to action.
Really? It’s ok for the mankrik mage in my last run to ninja a shield from the paladin and a mace? There should be something like a 3 day temp ban on using rdf for toxic, greedy players
the only “punishment” that blizzard does for ninja looters is to have the item deleted. ninja looting has never been a ban-able offense, not even in vanilla
Depends on the situation. They’ve banned masterlooter ninjas before, when the loot rules were clearly stated and then broken. Never more than a few days though.
Rolling need on an item, though, you never get banned for that. It’s rude, but Blizzard’s position on that has always been ‘just outroll them’.
Players in RDF are reportable. However, people playing the game in a way that you dislike is not banworthy.
People are allowed to roll on anything they want.
What they need to do is make it so players can only roll on gear they can equip. They did this in a later expansion, although I’m not sure which one, but it would help curb ninja rolling.
this is anther reason why LFR is not a good idea.
It’s normal; tanks have no incentive to run full heroics. They seek their valor and orbs, and then they leave, which is not a reportable offense.
Well this brings us back to your first point these players will shard or vendor the items to make gold. Most of them don’t speak English and are RMT.
tanks won’t do all the bosses?
I have run about 80 Zandalari heroics on my tank, the thing I want the most in there is to get out of it as fast as possible.
As time progresses, the people that are dedicated raiders don’t need to run them anymore, leaving just casual players and people with green styrofoam gear, there is always at least one DPS that either dies to every single boss or fights with the healer on DPS, frequently I even dealt with all 3 DPS put together dealing less DPS than me, tanking.
Healers are not except from it, I got tired of healers spamming fast heals, going OOM in 30 seconds and blaming me for ‘not having enough gear’, when I’m at nearly BIS heroic raid gear and am only doing these dungeons for valor farming towards the 50k achievement and a chance at the ZG mounts.
People who need on stuff they can’t wear are a problem, yes, but skipping bosses was, is, and will always be a thing, because when you can fill multiple bingo cards with the different screw ups people do in heroic dungeons, and you find yourself constantly in a
situation where you need to repeatedly carry the entire dungeon by yourself, like I said earlier, the thing I want the most is to get out of there as fast as I can.
No, there aren’t for anything other than communication or name violations, otherwise I wouldn’t have posted this. There is no easy way to report griefing in a rdf dungeon. If there was maybe players would act accordingly. As of now it perfectly acceptable for a mage to roll need on gear he can’t use just to vendor
. As of now it perfectly acceptable for a mage to roll need on gear he can’t use just to vendor
Yes, that’s by design. People can roll need on whatever gear they please. That is not something that will ever be banworthy.
It should be
No, it shouldn’t. Everyone contributes to the kill so everyone should be able to roll on the loot.
It’s a team effort.
I agree that it’s a team effort, but if they can’t use it, they shouldn’t roll on it.
I think Blizzard should add the disenchant option back to loot rolls, just so people can have it, but other than that, there’s no reason to roll need on loot you can’t even use. And people saying that it’s for gold, if you need gold, just learn a profession and use that to make it.
PL despite the hate it gets from some did resolve this.
Any hunters “taking” stuff is jsut loot rules at that point. And i’ve been that BM or MM hunter not happy RNG gave me a 2 hander lol.
So yeah pl is not 100%. But its because it plays with the rules its given.
extremely difficult to gear new characters. Not everything can be bought with valor points.
You don’t need full epics to get an invite to normal raids. Any normal mode clear is gonna invite you if you have all the valor items. Heck you might even get invited to partial heroic clears.
While it sucks that people are rude and greedy the method of skip runs is to maximize valor rewards for buying guaranteed good upgrades.
Blizz just needs to make Classic loot personal…but they wont, because that would disrupt GDKPs…and Blizz can see the largest group of remaining people in Classic are RMTers
PL, imo, is fine for dungeons.
No ninjya, rng just hates you.
Give it trade ability. In retail I could and did trade stuff I did not need.
If asked nicely. Come off like a d word for the item request…I can be a d word too. IRL I am paid to deal with difficult customers. In game…I can tell a dude what they can do with themselves.
But if one asked nicely…here ya go dude.
Cata is extremely easy to gear main or alts
stuff like this always happens since the start of wow people rolling on items for ther friends ore just to de or sell wont stop till it go to self loot if you dont like it just ignor them bliz wont do anything
