What are your thoughts regarding this?
Both the original and recolors would be nice. I’d like a system like how Vicious Saddles are earned, progress by winning above a certain rating threshold.

They floated the idea in Legion.
PvP players said no, non-pvpers said yes but remove the rating requirement and Blizz decided against it.

I think so - mounts and elite sets. Similar to the saddles, give us a token that we can use to pick the reward that we want. This would absolutely increase participation in PvP, too.

Should be treated like pve gear honestly. Make it easy to get once its two expansions back. I dont see why pvp appearances would be more gatekept than mythic raid appearances.

Perhaps an expansion or two to mirror soloing mythic raids for transmog?

And yet most people don’t have Vicious mounts. The % of acquisition is extremely low for these mounts according to dataforazeroth and Wowhead.
This just shows that even if Elite Sets were still available, people that don’t PVP won’t get them.

The only time I ever wanted an elite set was for warlock in S3 of DF, and I got it. I will regret not getting the fel weapon illusion from Legion for the rest of my days though.

I’ve always been of the extremist opinion that nothing should ever be made unattainable, ever. I know plenty agree and plenty disagree. No sense trying to change anyone’s mind, everyone just thinks what they think.

I’d prefer mythic sets and achievement mounts also be unobtainable after their season ends.
99% of everything is eternally available. We shouldn’t be getting rid of the scant few trophies that exist.

I agree that it should be all or nothing.
It would be pretty awesome to be able to get older PvP sets.
I think a lot agree… I would say have them be a 2 expansion delay myself. Who knows though they made weapons account bound in df they might change it one day.

I feel this would be a good thing for the PVP community. So few people get the elite sets while they’re active, that having them available similar to the saddle system I feel would really bolster the PVP community even more. I know some people who like to collect the currency to buy all the old transmogs etc, so idk, just gives an additional goal for those sorts of people.

I think that’s a good idea although most the elite stuff is rather ugly. 
Kind of strange that this is the only sacred cow left. You can get a full mythic appearance doing delves, but elite PvP is lost forever to the sands of time?

Just like with saddles, make them perhaps obtainable after winning x number of games (or fill the bar) after 1.8k-2k+, or something of the sort during the next expansion.
I own a lot of elite sets, it would be cool to go back and fill in some of the gaps.
No reason it shouldn’t be considering pve stuff stays available forever
It’s not like it’s the gladiator mount/title, just an armor recolor you get at 1800
