Im saying that its less than 0.5% of unobtainable items. The chances of “new” players seeing that glad mount and decide to wuit the game over it and throw tantrum are close to none. Another low factor is “there are no new players” which shows in constant sub decline. Hope you understood.
128gb of storage whats less than 1% of it? Because thats the size of unobtainable items (its even lower).
Unless you want to wipe whole raids once the season is over?
Troll?
So will you. The difference is i get to enjoy what i earned (or should i say “unlocked”) so you wont pick every word i say and fail yet again to use in your argument.
You dont? You are under thread dedicated to pixels. The difference is im fine by them staying avail and you want to obtain them. Drooling over them even.
It’s a common tactic among the anti-FOMO crowd. They actually think people are dumb enough to not see through it. They offer to “compromise” by giving away something they don’t want to get what they want and then are shocked when the receiving party says “wait if you don’t want that what makes you think I would?”
Nobody needs them. People want them. Believe it or not it’s okay to want things.
If I could push a button and give the people who it would make happy, access to every rare thing I have, I would do it.
(The Magic Rooster is a weird exception because I fear if they re-release it, they will make it high-res and ugly. I mean look at it. They will not be okay with dozens of copies of it running around town. It’s so low-res it breaks immersion. The problem is, right now it looks nice for what it is, and the artists now have access to more tools but are bad, and they’ll ruin it.)
Because I think they look cool. I’d like to have them but if they don’t come back it’s not like I’m going to quit wow. I have most of the stuff I’ve wanted over the years anyway.
I do agree with you on a lot of things on the forums here but this is one we just have to agree to disagree on. Personally I think having cool things because they look cool adds value to the game. Doesn’t matter where they came from.
I can agree with that. But the number of cosmetics that are locked is pretty miniscule.
And that doesn’t address the fact that they’re used as incentive to push people to do content. How many people come back each patch to push for AoTC? How many wouldn’t if they could just wait until next expansion and steamroll everything? I bet you that the number isn’t zero.
FOMO where you just had to login in to get it, I’m fine with them adding back and they seem to be doing so. Bring back skill-based FOMO rewards, however, wouldn’t be fair to those who earned them at the time as it’s literally impossible to replicate that intended difficulty now.
The discussion about FOMO has run its course. They will bring the items back one way or another. Blizzard is aware of it, otherwise they wouldn’t have released the new and improved bruto mount.
I do agree. I just want a few of the CM sets and maybe a couple of MT appearances (I got most of these though).
That’s fair, but there’s no amount of limited cosmetics to get me to play pvp at all lol. Also if I like an AotC mount, I can just buy it with gold super cheap.
Just another note, the limited time rewards that are different but keep coming around like AotC mount, KSM mount, pvp sets, I think are fine. If you see one you really like you can push and earn it. What I absolutely hate is kind of FOMO where you only get one shot and once it’s gone NOTHING like it ever comes around again. CM sets/MT appearances as examples.
