All I would really like is the Black Proto Drake and a chance for the Mists Challenge Shaman set. I’ll hope but won’t hold my breath.

Nah, if anything give us more cool fomo that people in the future will regret missing out on because of how awesome the rewards are, this type of thing is my favorite part about MMOs having really cool stuff people can never earn again. Any before you guys try tell me the lies of “no one cares that you have x” if that was true we wouldn’t have so many threads year after year about bringing back these exact items.

I think I spelled out my love for FOMO pretty clearly, it’s amazing and again I absolutely love having items people can never ever get it’s the best. Oh and this isn’t new my post history backs my feelings up on this subject going back many many years.

They shouldn’t use FOMO on a game this old at all. Some players can legit use the excuse “no fair I wasn’t born yet”.
I do like the FF14 way. It’s free during the first event then afterwards it’s in the shop ready for purchase at your leasure.

Oh it has enough prestige to get you to beg for it. Glads CMs Elites will never return. They had a chance in Remix to bring CM they didnt. S4 elites in DF? They didnt. Not a single glad mount ever.
PROGRES BASED FOMO WILL NEVER RETURN. Thank you Blizzard for listening to us real gamers who pay sub and actually participate in content we want to earn rewards in.
Whoever wants to quit over 0.5% unobtainable items can quit and stop crying.

Excuse me but how many hunters do you ever see with the Rhok? It is the most exclusive thing in WoW currently, and for good reason.
FOMO actually discourages new players from ever trying something. It also can cause existing players to just, stop doing it entirely because once you miss out, and you have no access something, it makes all further effort wasted.

The only people that care about “prestige” are the ones that take pixels WAY too seriously.
Most of the people that want something brought back just thinks it looks cool.

Mine is, if I start a new game and see a ton of stuff I can never earn because it was removed for “reasons”, I’ll quit and never look back.
Not a single elite was brought back. Why should blizz cater with participation trophies to noobs?
