Make old fomo content earnable

This is not for you to decide. You using a High Elf transmog piece on your Void Elf, which is FOMO recolor from MoP Remix and a racial theme piece. Why should it be removed from the game, when other people also like racial representation in the game? Why do we need to remove racial correct theme pieces in the first place?

You really didn’t thought this through.

Aaaand you arent entitled to make that decision. At all. Ever. Thank god.

It’s obviously very important to retain the exclusivity. But something like recolors would be a low effort win. Ideally we get all new rewards.

Just like the brutosaur that they definitely didnt upgrade then just flat sell to the masses.

Lmao.

Good call. They should release recolors of the mage tower weapons for $90 each. That’s like 4k from the ultra completionists. Bonus points to have it be a limited run, only while legion TW is active.

There is a clear demand of higher quality items and not every design appeals to everyone. Making these weapons available is the right choice to do, especially when some of the colorizations are tied to the official canon-colors of the heritage armors and racial themes.

Mop legendary cloak vas just a questline. In remix u got it almost for free.
I was talking about challenge mode as CMG.

Blizzard im glad items are removed when season ends. Keep up the good work and after 20 years keep it the way it always was. Do not cater to spoiled kids who want their participation trophies. The whole rott of the game shouldnt be catered to.
Ty ily Blizzard. :nerd_face::heart:

I mean, Blizz makes the decision and they’ve already said it’s not happening, so your statement to that person doesn’t really hold water

Right. A season is 6 months. So you think they should fine tune the balancing for every single one of these challenges every 6 months? That’s a lot of work. Why would they ever add more challenge modes in the future if they’re going to need to balance those every 6 months as well?

I mean, you’re wrong. I played MoP remix for 20 levels and got nothing except the phoenix mount. Nothing I’m wearing has anything to do with high or void elves. But, go off I guess. Why let facts get in the way?

Yeah the one u using is from TP not MOP Remix. Those people will try to use everything to support their argument.
The fact that 99.5% of stuff is still obtainable and they probably arent even close to collecting everything is exactly the reason i fully support limited items to exist.

And the MoP cloak + Ordos access were things Blizzard said would never happen again.

Also? Just a quest line? Someone didn’t play MoP when it came out.

The “way it always was” has changed significantly over the past 20 years.

The irony with the FOMO debating is every time one of these posts get made the majority of people participating in arguing to bring back time-sensitive rewards usually have no experience doing content that gives FOMO rewards.

So I always question what their motives are, unless they expect retired Glad drakes to be earnable by grinding marks of honor in unrated BGs or something.

This is exactly what they think it should be.

For the glad mounts and the elite sets.

I played and got cmg in mop. Afaik it was questline for borrowed power. Ar did i forget something?

This is precisely what they think, or at least a version of it.
The more PvE-/PvP-neutral way they say it is usually “It is just pixels therefore they don’t matter therefore give them to me.” Other fun things to note is the argument of “Blizzard made the promise that time limited stuff would be time limited, but since this promise is disadvantageous to my position I’m just going to say that I hope Blizzard makes a bunch of promises and then break them.”

It really is just a topic that attracts people who will shift the goalpost, belittle and insult people, and hold contradicting viewpoints within the same sentence. When you are used to these arguments you see the same mantraic arguments over and over again in threads like these.

You wear three Quel’dorei based items (the Magister set). Obviously it is based on the High Elf-colorization. The set is based on the original one (MoP Remix, with another recolor - the void elf heritage armor-based one - not being available for now).

Perhaps you start to study the game you play.

It was a quest line, but saying it was “just” a quest line undersells how annoying it was to do.
