Make old fomo content earnable

I agree, but make them earnable legit, so we could have current difficulty CM dungeons of MoP we could queue into. Basically like timing a 10 and we get the set, could even update the models. That way we have new sets (like the new tier from anniversarry) and old ones are still prestige.

That was a high demand.

This is not.

I mean where else would you get a solid consensus of the wow population?

When people want to be vocal, they hit the forums. That should be common sense.

If you honestly think the forums represent the majority I don’t know what to tell you

I never said that.

I said when people want to complain. They come to the forums.

Notice the massive lack of “fomo” posts.
Spoilers, there are zero outside of this one currently.

But nice try on trying to twist my intentions to fit your nonsense.

But in flash sales. FOMOA(gain)

I’d camp out like a new iPhone iPsycho for a few mounts I haven’t had luck fishing up.

FOMOA! A raving success for Blizzard. See what the fans have to say!

“Damn you FOMOA I haven’t slept in days”
“Because of FOMOA I lost my wife when I didn’t leave my computer room for 3 months”
“FOMOA makes me afraid of FOMOAA and that give me FOMOAnxst.”
“I’m Addicted!..
again”

Wanting to have an item that is rare and unobtainable has nothing to do with self worth. It’s a cool item that is even cooler because of scarcity. Just like any other collector likes rare things you can’t get anymore.

Why would you want to devalue this person’s experience? Say someone gets awarded a trophy or plaque for their efforts, any particular field. The hunk of metal or wood is meaningless on its own, the object itself doesn’t change anything about what you accomplished, but it is something you have because you earned it. It means something to you.

Now, the same organization that gave you the award are now giving out carbon copies of this trophy to everyone because a lot of people complained that they could no longer get it since the competition is over. Everyone gets a trophy and puts it in their trophy case, suddenly that trophy you worked for is less meaningful. It doesn’t change what you did to get it, all the work you did, but the symbol of your hard work is now tarnished and less of a unique mark of your success.

Because its lost is value in the years since.

No it hasn’t, because nobody is doing it anymore. Nobody can go back and get world first from Castle Nathria, because the race is over. That doesn’t extinguish the ‘value’ of having done it. The further you get from winning a championship in a sport doesn’t take away the fact that you won it or how impressive it was at the time. It lives in a vacuum, sealed away.

That’s what you’re implying.

Then why are you so protective of it? Why would it matter to you if more people had it?

That’s where the self worth is attached.

So the attachment is to the memory and not the item.

Nope.

The forums have always been the vocal minority
unless there are glaring problems ingame. Then people flood in making 50 posts about the same topic in a very short amount of time.

So not only are you wrong, but you are a disengenuous poster trying to twist my words since you have no clue what you are talking about.

Should have earned them when they were relevant content.

Yeah man my bad that I literally didnt play the game because i had a life. You’re right gosh how dare people have lives. Everyone should slave away at wow to get some pixels.

Weirdo.

Ignore that person. They do nothing but troll every single post they make.

700% agree.

All removed content should be brought back, EVERYTHING.

End this nonsense.

Is this what you think is a valid excuse?

Not a valid excuse. If you can’t manage your schedule that’s a you issue.

God forbid people keep things they earned when it was relevant.

Entitled child.

Should the IOC also award the 1928 gold for the winners at the upcoming 2028 olympics?
