It’s the same type of content (solo dungeon thing) and will probably be more difficult at a certain level. After they’d added druid forms the the barbershop and are allowing cross spec equipping of appearances, I think they should add them back in as rewards since these extra features were not known during Legion.

If glad mounts can be made account wide on characters who never earned it then I think Blizzard will be just fine mage tower stuff available for some new solo content challenges.

As a side note, Torgahst and Mage Tower are completely different from each other. It’s like asking the bindings of Thunderfury to be added to Nya’lotha’s loot table

No one is asking for free anything.
Time exclusive rewards are stupid and only those that want to stroke their ego are that concerned with not letting anyone use that transmog for not getting it at the time.

The mage tower appearances were for spec-specific challenges. Torghast isn’t spec-specific, it’s not even a specific challenge; the floors you get are completely random. Someone could get really easy floors and another could get really hard ones. Then you can just keep trying until you get lucky.
The mage tower just wasn’t like that. You couldn’t get lucky. It was always skill. It was methodical and you know everyone with it did the same thing.

Except you are. You’re asking to get rewarded with something you never earned.
Ego is apart of the reward. You earned a cool appearance and you stand out because it shows that you truly earned it. That’s why they’re special. You missed out? Too bad.

Mage tower rewards are Legion content.
Legion is Legacy content which can be steamrolled by anyone with an ilvl higher than 400. To maintain it being anywhere near a challenge like it was when it first dropped would require far more man hours and resources than it would be worth.
Not even counting the fact that all specs in BFA are different to Legion and will be yet again different in SL. Spells and legendaries that were required to complete the Mage Tower don’t exist in a lot of classes

what are your thoughts on allied races not needing rep any more?
Blizzard made a statement on this during Legion, actually, stating that it may be something they do in the future.

Free would be logging in and finding it in the mail.
Asking to do a challenging bit of content like the mage tower was is hardly free.
The player still earned the gladiator mount in that season. You definitely did not earn the mage tower appearance you want to be returned though, so it’s not really the same thing at all.

Torghast is a good comparison to the mage tower, because Torghast is supposed to be the new mage tower, but with a different spin on it, and different rewards. It is a different challenge and it should give us different appearances. I hope druids get new forms from Torghast!

It pretty much is. You’re getting Legion content in Shadowlands. The reward is back now and anybody can get it again. It’s free for anyone to get again. And sorry to say, Torghast is not the same as the Mage Tower.
I’m fine with it. People can play what race they want. I know you’re trying to use this as a “gotcha” but you seemingly don’t know the difference between a rep grind and a class challenge.

its something earnt. That you had to put effort into. Took time. Its very comparible to your ego thing if you ask me.
Also youre completely ignoring the fact the mage tower was not a challenge at the end of the expansion. It was a challenge for a patch.
I have said this before and still stand by it:
The only mage tower awards that need to be made available are the druid forms and that is purely due to how few druid forms are available.
I don’t really feel like anyone is loosing anything from the other weapon rewards due to the fact that their are 100s and 100s of weapon transmog
