Hunter wants a quiver and ammo.
They come as cosmetic pieces at a low or high price. More could come from achievements.
They have no benefits. None. Zip. Nada. They’re just for the looks.
Watch the masses buy them. Everybody wins.

You sure about that? Have you seen my Things You Don’t Miss thread?
Seems like they don’t want the ammo LOL
It’s dumb that hunters don’t have arrows or ammo anymore
Yet we have quests that say “hey I need more ammo! Go kill these dark iron dwarves for their ammo and bring them to me!”
This is post cataclysm and that’s when ammo was obsolete
They want quivers back. I’m still holding onto old quivers on 2 of my hunters in hope those specific ones can be used again.
Which is why I said make it completely cosmetic.
Making it optional.
Just waiting for those who want ammo to return to clearly state their intent by really wanting Hunter Dead Zone to return.
Quivers would be fine. It’s why I mostly only use Legion bows.
But no ammo!
IDK about it being silly (not gonna use the other word, you used), but I go back and forth I miss it or not which is why I, personally, did list it, in my “Things You Don’t Miss” thread.

Yeah, and I like using Staves as a Hunter, and I play a Nelf Hunter in Classic Era, and have to start over my weapon training to even be efficient with Staves, in the first place, when the dead zone arises ![]()
what if ammo was like a weapon oil you apply to the gun/bow/crossbow and it buffs it for like an hour or something
No. Once again, I stated completely cosmetic.
Don’t want the dead zone, but i wouldn’t mind the switch to melee at close range.
Bring back ammo, but also:
Weapons degrade much more quickly before having to return to a blacksmith to have it repaired and sharpened, and the cost is much greater, replacing transmog as a gold sink.
For all caster classes, mana regen is exponentially lower and essentially requires potions to maintain adequate levels.
Poisons must be carried in bags and reapplied to daggers
Monks have to carry around athletic tape for their hands and wrists, crafted by tailors
Feral and Guardian Druids have to go to a groomer to have their claws repaired and sharpened.
Priests and Paladins have to spend a certain number of hours sunbathing to ‘replenish their light’ and whatnot
It’s more that Hunters automatically have as many as they need now, just like how every other class in the game gets to function with their full toolkits. (ie, Rogues don’t need 20 extra daggers on hand to use Fan of Knives, Warriors don’t need a pile of axes for Heroic Throw, Ravager, or Sidearm)
That was a thing? Oh goodness. Didn’t know that. When did that change?
They pretty much did that in DF:
Unless I’ve missed it on the list, they don’t appear to be continuing them into TWW for whatever reason.
It wasn’t, fortunately. Just giving other examples of how “realistic ammo” would be ridiculous for other classes, and it’s better that Hunters were instead let into the “allowed to just have their supplies” club.
Im pretty sure there are a couple of quivers in game. i vaugely remember a squarish tan one and a purple Nelf looking one. I could be wrong tho i didnt hunter much this expansion.
There was also a quiver on the Trading Post. No idea if it’ll be offered again or not.
I thought hunters having a talent to choose ammunition type was cool.
