Make Honor great again!

Remove pvp tokens and revert pvp vendors to sell items for Honor points. Adding pvp tokens was a redundant and useless implementation when Legion devs decided to screw all pvpers.

I remember the days when I felt like Honor had value. For years, Honor was worth something to pvpers. Now, it's like mehhhhh, thanks to pvp tokens. But, even pvp tokens are like mehhhhh.
It's such a shame Honor in general and Honor tokens are "token" mementos of great days gone bye. The current Honor system is a joke. I'm currently working towards a pet for my next Honor ranking hallmark. A PET!!!??? I've had the same weapon and shield for almost 2 months but by god I get mounts and pets with my Honor! GG Blizz.

Hoping to see PVP vendors and HONOR/HONOR TOKENS being relevant again. Also looting insignia and other various items off dead enemy players should be implemented as a currency.
They'd have to make a new currency since Honor is now a grindy achievement and mount/toy hamster wheel.

(Which they should do, as the current gearing system is horrib)
Honor didn't mean anything in the vendor days either.

You'd be hard-pressed to find anybody who would get remotely close to full honor set before asking for Conquest carries.

You're wrong there and I'm guessing you haven't played before MoP possibly even WoD. Honor rewarded all pvp offsets which you could not obtain anywhere else. It also rewarded gear such as weapons based on arena rating. It also offered heirlooms and all pvp consumables via honor. It also offered old pvp sets via honor. Know your facts first.
Honor awarded one less grade gear than Conquest most times in the season, and the most common mentality was "why do I have to get this pre gear when I can go straight to arena and get the conq gear all at once"

Lots of people were lazy/impatient and uninterested in BGs for honor. Most nooby DPS would ask to go into arenas well before they even got into the best they could get for honor at the given time in the season.

Sorry that answer wasn't what you were looking for.

He is talking about pre-WoD
When I buy every single piece of appearance idk what to spend tokens for.
Buy seals of fate and is this all?

This is only sort of true? While yes some people didn't do bgs for the gear I guarantee you those people still aren't doing bgs for gear. If you were half way through a season you still wanted to do bgs for half the honor gear. Also the catch up mechanic wasn't 100% so you still had reason to do bgs usually.

Most of us on the other hand did grind half an honor set to compliment the half a conquest set. I did a ton of bgs wod and earlier. Since legion bgs have felt pretty useless. The only reason to do them is fun. Even though I find them fun I barely do them because blizzard has put so much focus on rated PvP. I'd rather go for that rando PvP drop even though 99% of the time it's garbage. When there was an actual set cap on gear I could go work on alts and do bgs or even just play regular bgs on my main because I didn't feel forced to continue to gamble for gear.

The honor grind and prestige rewards aren't a bad system to get people involved so maybe that works for some. Idc too much about them sadly so I really haven't done many bgs lately :(

You can buy by consumables to get extra advantages in rando bgs. They're pretty strong too. That's about it though.

The Conquest system doesn't involve much gambling, and provided pretty reasonable gear. I'm certainly happy with my new socketed 370 bow, no rated required.
Everything about being a PvP'er feels wrong and unrewarding right now. I agree, bring back an honor system where grinding and being rewarded for something can mean something again. Also, bring back resilience, or something that can set us apart from PvE'ers when encountering them in un-instanced PvP.

Great, your PvE trinkets & gear will allow you to wreck NPCs at a moments notice because you raid all day ... can't I get something powerful that would greatly benefit me in PvP when I'm going against someone who doesn't put in all the time grinding PvP like I do?

Yes, push rating and get the better gear.

I never heard anyone say that. My own experience comes from buying honor and then conquest gear during wod.

So your own personal idiosyncratic opinion is not what people are looking for. Your opinion is way out there and should rightly be ignored.

Lots of people had their buddies 1v2 in 2s for the 27k cp cap.
