Please make some way for old “ground” mounts to fly. Easiest way to implement in my mind would be a new piece to go in the “mount equipment” slot. Could possibly make it look like the “harness” on squeakers that allows it to fly.
Bottom line is there are so many amazing mounts in the game that flat out don’t get used because they’re useless at endgame.
I would even pay money for this feature. I’m honestly amazed it isn’t already in game.
I’d very much love for my Magic Rooster mount to at least have a slow fall baked into it when it jumps off a cliff, seems silly for it to flap its little wings while dropping like a stone.

this is why i think unicorns and flying cats are lame mounts now lol - no longer impressed because their fantasy is messed up imo.

It would look ridiculous in many cases. I can see giving a glide to hawkstriders, and maybe mechanostriders, but normal horses, kodos, nightsabers, and such would just look silly.
Fantasy world. There’s nothing to “mess up.” 
We already have flying horses, nightsabers, rats, dogs, oxen, discs, foxes, mech suits, moose, etc.
That would just look stupid and ruin the fantasy of flying mounts in general. I don’t want to see random basic vanilla mounts flying all over.
Proposition: Let us strap rockets to our trusty steeds.
