This is my genius proposal to help curb mass flagging.
Make it public.
If someone wants to flag someone for Blizz to take action on an account, so be it. But their character should be shown too.

I can see the hate mail âso you flagged my post huhâ in-game already.
Personally I like the idea, however itâll just cause more problems that it should. People will start calling out other people and yadda yadda. Then you may see harassment starting in game.
Thereâd be backlash from hell. No way this could work.
I love that youâre thinking on it though, someone needs to.
Do it. I ainât scared.
that would make the forums even more adversarial but good try
Who doesnât like a little drama ![]()
Blizzard doesnât seem to have a great deal of interest in telling the âdefendantsâ who reported them in-game. Doubt that opinion will change as far as the forums are concerned either.
The âbestâ that comes of this idea is threads being derailed as each side bickers back and forth as to why X report was or wasnât warranted.
This sounds like a truly awful idea. I understand the reasoning but the consequences are worse than the cure.
On the t.v.? Sure. In my life? Not so much.
People who donât suck.
No. Some posts deserve to be flagged. If a person made a post that
should be flagged. That person should not know any names.
Some people would harass players endlessly because they flagged
a post that should of never have been made to begin with.
I already know who flags my posts, itâs the same handful of players who follow me around every topic getting pissed off.
Oh this would be constructive.
We need to know who the jannies are here so we can make them feel unwelcome. Agreed with the OP.
Or maybe stop making threads about how men shouldnât whistle at you
Or threads about how a tauren âtrolledâ your RP experience
Oh man I missed that one. Was it good?
People would just make and delete alts.
Maybe thatâs their way of letting you know they have a crush on you.
Apparently she believed a male tauren (she made sure to call the tauren a male tauren) trolled her and her friend by sitting on them
Then followed them, making her think the tauren was hitting on her instead
