I have 6 toons with all Ilvl 445+. Really hate to grind the same thing everyday to unlock the bis traits. Make it account wide please!!!

I really hope Blizzard doesn’t cave and give even more to players with ease. Many of us still appreciate the fact that we have to work for stuff in an mmorpg, timegates are something that have been around since forever. This isn’t Overwatch where you can just jump right in after pressing the queue button.

Congrats on all of those nicely geared alts. My alts all have around 420-425. And yes, I have to grind the same thing every day to get their upgrades. I don’t plead for account wide stuff. I just work on each alt as I can.
I can understand some of the extreme requirements being lowered a little after getting the level 3 essences on the main, but to make it account wide… I certainly hope not.

I know so many people that would come back to wow if they knew this later if grinding was removed.
Would easily be able to revive my old guild.

I’m all for this.
But maybe it optional - like some of the story quest lines, where you can select "ive already heard this story. "
This way people who enjoy the grind can still choose to go through it for their own character progression.
Bingo - this would satisfy the concerns voiced with making such a change. And in a pretty simple way.
Would be a great way to invigorate retail and bring lots of people back imo.
Why would they make essences account wide? Its not like they actually want the game to be fun and get me to play alts.

Idk, I think that logging in for 20 min every day for 30 days on every alt to do mind numbing, boring, nearly afk-able content doesn’t constitute “working for stuff.” I think they should make essences account wide and make us work for gear, instead of handing out Heroic raid loot like candy.

I for one would enjoy the game a lot more if I could play different classes without feeling like I am wasting my limited time. I have to pick one toon and if i want to try something else i have to wait for the next major content patch or expansion to switch.

I’d be all for more Account-Wide things.
I love how PvP tokens are BoA and I love how honor is account level with HK’s being both local and account. It ADDS to the fun, for me at least.

As great as it would be but that is incredibly dumb. It would also kill raiding for class stacking. There is SO much more damage this could do.
Probably come back and complain they have nothing to do.
I’ve done the more lengthy grinds (rep and follower xp) more than once now and would not be offended if they made it account wide. I used to maintain 3-4 alts each tier just in case for raiding and m+ purposes; one tank, one healer, and two dps. This time around it was rough to maintain two and starting on a third broke me. The ap grind is nothing and neither is the gear grind. It’s essences gating me from being fully effective in my roles unlike previous tiers where it was simply “grind your neck for your azerite traits and you can perform”

Make essences account-wide! Also reputation! Also gear and experience! If everything isn’t account-wife, Blizz hates players and alts!

Hey, at least gearing lets you play the game. Skinning another 30 turtles for your essence not so much.
Is there really any difference between essence grinding and farming the same raid instance over and over again?!? I mean, honeslty?
Better idea, let’s delete the azerite system altogether.

Raiding was a more enjoyable way to spend my time than waiting for three rares to spawn in mechagon on warmode in alliance dominated shards for rep 
I also was able to gear a lot of alts in m+ in previous patches and even for the entirety of legion. Rep wasn’t a big deal on alts outside of revered for professions since they made the champs neck upgrades account wide… but now I’m back to the exalted grind for essences at the bare minimum for my healers because those are so strong.
The essence grind has also been an issue for some of my raiders who wanted to main swap to fill a desired role but can’t do so effectively until they put several weeks into grinding the ones they need to meet the dps or healing requirements for ashvane…
