Please make enhancement shaman OP for once. Overdue it for once. Every now and again for a season or so, enhance has been competitive with some of the top classes on the dps charts. However, when is it our turn for every other class to say…“thats just cheating” as i have said about many claases throughout the years. PUT SOME RESPECT ON ENHANCEMENTS NAME.

Damn you missed out on SoD. Enhancement shaman was SO op it literally made all of the alliance quit pvping and over half quit.

The truth is the community was so use to treating enhance as a punching bag that when they were at black smith killing 3 players solo then chasing down the 4th they couldn’t handle it.

When the top overall raid damage went to enhance for one week. The community lost its mind.

Enhance can’t be OP the community can’t handle it. That’s for ret warriors warlocks mages and new hero classes.

You forgot Spriest, they tend to do well most of the time in recent xpacks.

I feel like even though spriest usually does decent damage, the gameplay or rotation is godawful at times to the point people don’t wanna play it, at least that’s my take as a non-priest playing observer.

Why would you want to be purposely OP? Just give classes and specs the tools and tuning to actively compete with each other. When specs even appear OP they get made fun of not respected.

the biggest problem with enh imo

is major button bloat

too many totems that die too easily and don’t last too long

then you have novas, 3 lightnings, lashes, stromstrikes, etc…

what they need to do is combine totems to do multiple jobs

ie
windshear + healing + snare totem should all be 1 totem imo

then you have to manage wolves and your maelstrom, then you have to manage your non existant mana pool because any spell cast without maelstrom has a huge mana cost.

and lastly, we have to poorest set of defensives ever developed in any mmo

for God’s sake, mages and warlocks are the tankiest classes in the game, and they wear cloth

I bet you could have these 2.classes as.main tanks in a raid 100%
