I made a cozy campfire last night in Kara and when it didn’t act like a torch light I almost logged out. What a missed opportunity.

mage fire spells should also work ofc
and paladin heals since they have light in the name
thats just getting a bit silly now.
But a short duration limited availability consumable? With good lore ?
I think thats reasonable enough.

im an engineer and i can make flashlights to defeat the darkness

I think the lore is reasonable, and its a limited availability short duration consumable, its not exactly game breaking.

Considering how disproportionately difficult the light mechanic is for healers, literally anything they can add to provide additional light sources encourages support gameplay- they have no reason not to do this with moonstones/campfires etc besides “I didnt feel like coding it.”
The ship has sailed on Keeping KC difficult , may as well make everyone’s daily runs more enjoyable.

Reading is hard. I agree Moonstones should bring light. But not a campfire or anything else.
