There’s no point to crafting orders, you have people undercutting commissions by like 90% and some even doing it for free even on high end recipes.
Just scrap the whole thing.

Who cares about the mats, the whole point is for crafters to have a lucrative way to money but instead we just have a scuffed AH with zero oversight.

Then tell to go craft it themselves if crafters aren’t important.
It is easy money. I click a button and make a thousand gold without hardly doing anything.

Yeah, I could see cross-server being beneficial and I don’t think it would make much of a difference since crafters are capped at 20 orders a day.

They probably won’t do it in case people use it as a way to transfer gold to other servers via personal orders.

My server is also dead, not a single crafting order for leatherworking at all. Don’t see why it can’t be cross server.

It is dead on high population servers as well and maybe even full servers.
Lack of population isn’t the issue, the issue is something else entirely that wouldn’t be fixed with cross server orders. Also since the recipes/patterns aren’t region wide sale making the results region wide would result in very unfair input costs.
Because it would be a way to move gold cross server.
