Make character boosts give max level

want to come back to WoW but leveling isnt something im interested in at all.
its not enriching my experience, its making me absolutely dread playing the game.

if people could just buy max level, skip all that boring, repetitive crap and gear up for max level PvP/PvE content it would be a net positive.

bought a month and have slowly picked away at a couple characters but i just cant get engaged enough to do more than one or two quests before i get suuper bored, close WoW and go to another game where i can enjoy the content i want to without being forced to rinse/repeat killing some dumb mobs to collect some dumb items to gain XP. wont be resubbing.

if people want to go through all that, experience the story and such they can, i dont care about that at all, i want to do max level content without grinding all the dreary, boring fluff that is leveling.

TLDR:
forcing me to level is 100% the reason my return to wow lasted less than a month. let us just buy 120 already.

They will, probably in 8.3 when they start pre orders for the next expansion, which will most likely come with a 120 boost.

So if your not gonna level now, see ya then!

from a business standpoint, they could have sub/boost money for a longer time from me if they’d just let us boost to max sooner.

id really really like to go do BGs/Arenas/Dungeons and Raids but i just couldnt be bothered less to level anymore. it completely kills any motivation i have to play wow.
leveling is the most boring thing i could possibly think of doing, especially knowing that once i hit max level ill be met with even more questing to get things like flying ect.
let us have max level, grinding that sort of stuff out would be a loot more tolerable if i could do it during downtime between endgame PvP/PvE content.

games slowly but surely dying, they need to re-attract the old players like myself who just dont want to grind out killing mobs and collecting rocks.
especially as someone who likes to play multiple classes.
having a bunch of toons/specs/playstyles gives me a bunch of different things to do and kept me engaged for countless hours in the past. however, i CBA to level ONE of my characters, nevermind several.

As much as I understand where your coming from, boosts aren’t meant to be a skip to max level content, it’s meant as a catch-up tool for people to get into the new content faster, and that content includes the questing experience.

Plus you would still have to do a bunch of questing anyway to unlock flight path points, some dungeons, etc. So you might as well do it while your levelling anyway.

I agree…they should just cost a “max level” boost at $15 higher than a normal boost, that accounts for the sub money you’d spend during the leveling process. It should just come with a set of normal dungeon gear and you also should get to pick one zone you unlock all the FPs and WQs you would have unlocked leveling that zone.

but as someone who mainly wants to just do BGs / Arenas and a couple raids on the side NONE of that is really necessary.

thats the whole point of the post,
“the questing experience” is exactly what i cant stand about WoW. I’ve done it for years, on many many characters and im soooo over it.

“the questing experience” is exactly the thing that caused me to cancel my subscription less than a month after trying to return to WoW

“the questing experience” is keeping revenue lower than it could be and the player base smaller than it once was,

i understand that max level boosts shouldnt be available at the very start of an expansion but they wait wayyy way too long to bring them in.

Then this game might not be for you anymore.

Nobody is holding a gun to your head, “forcing” you to play WoW. IT IS A GAME.

You don’t get to “design a game that is perfect for you” for $15/mo or for $50 per expansion. That option costs $1500/mo and $50,000 per expansion.

Leveling is part of the game. Most MMOs do not even have a “free boost”. In every other MMO that I know, your only choice is to start at level ONE. So WoW is better than every other MMO on the market for what YOU want.

I think you need to find another game. Really you are wanting to skip 90% of the content in this one.

The customer is not always right, furthermore, you don’t spend more money to get a customer than they will return to you.

stop pseudo quoting.
did i say im forced to play the game? no. hence the part that you so ungraciously skipped where i said i canceled my sub.

The sheer amount if irony in this post aswell as the fact that its 100% lost on you makes this hilarious.

people returning to the game, paying for expansions, a sub and buying boosts is bad for business? please explain your logic lmao

anyone who hates the majority of this game isn’t going to stay

if it costs them more to do this and it will, then your paltry few bucks isn’t worth it.

This will be their Q2 Strategy to bring in revenue (once flying is released)

People grow up and change. Games ‘grow up’ and change. Like how you used to level and maybe enjoyed that?

There’s nothing wrong with no longer liking the game anymore. You are one of few who don’t like leveling. They won’t cater to you, just because you pay to play, too. Everyone does, and almost everyone is ok with leveling.
It’s just 10 levels. I did it on one character by trying to get old world archeology achievements. (about 15k exp per dig)

Also, your comment is absolutely stupid and offensive. I said nothing that should call for such a response.

leveling is the majority?
give me a break.
learning how to pvp, how to play as certain comps/against comps, raid mechanics ect.
im guessing you’re a casual thats never done a key above +3 and cant break 900cr in arenas.

Maybe after they let you pay a fee to get level cap they should also let you buy gear, Allied Races and Heritage Armor. Yeah that would be a hoot.

maybe now that alcohol prohibition has been gone for a while we should allow people to drink and drive, give it to minors and fly airplanes under the influence.

You just missed wrath TW. Those gave great XP. That’s how I leveled my druid from 110-120 and I didn’t have to touch a quest in BFA.

TW is something ive strongly considered on classes that can either tank or heal, however, on a pure dps class such as mage or rogue the queue times hurt lol
