See keep them short. You’re learning already
You are trying to argue w/them.
And I find it ironic you are calling something out that is " something that is completely not a Classic version of the game" when Celestials are not classic at all…they are closer to M+ in retail than they are classic.
You all love to move goal posts to fit your definition of classic. Classic stopped at TBC. What you have is not Classic but something akin to Classic-Plus, Classic-Kind-Of, or Wanna-Be-Classic, but it is not 100% classic.
Thank you for being a light in a sea of darkness friend.
Am I?
In this context, what I meant was that this wasn’t the point I cared to argue. I didn’t/don’t think I was or am trying to argue with him about this, by the way. I do think what is being stated is something that is available in other versions of the game.
Yeah, that’s a fair criticism. I agree with it.
I mean, unless goal posts are defined, there’s no movement, but sure. I don’t personally particularly consider MoP to be “Classic” at this point, and yes there are changes, so why not more?
I don’t really think what I’ve stated in this thread has been “Classic should remain classic.”
I actually asked a question that was dismissed, but would be interesting to know an answer to:
What exactly is “my argument?”
From my point of view, I was just contributing my own opinions and perspectives.
Which interestingly enough (or not?), I am doing more and more of lately…

Cut out Vanilla dungeons and we’ll talk
TBC too
Hell, even Wrath dungeons are feeling a bit weak
Just say you don’t like the idea lol
Why? It’s not a bad idea itself, the majority of the dungeons available just suck
Or just remove them! Make raiding great again! NO LFR no H+ dungeons!
Not when scaled up to 90 - you have no idea what that’s like.
If you were not trying to it appeared as though but do understand (now) you meant you didn’t care to argue about it, so fair enough.
I was not quite clear on this statement – it was not actually meant to you personally, but in general to others.
We actually do.

Um…yes I do? Changing the numbers of a dungeon doesn’t change its enemies, mechanics, or aesthetics
Blackrock Depths is still going to be a long maze of samey corridors full of uninteresting bosses whose most complicated mechanics are “hit it very hard before you get hit very hard” regardless of whether it’s level 50 or level 90
Not in mop @ 90 - no you do not. ![]()
How would it be any different? The classic dungeons have less mechanics than Molten Core.
Do you actually believe an uninteractive ability melee hitting the tank for 100,000 damage instead of 1,000 is a new and exciting experience?
Do you think that mop dungeons are somehow exclusively more entertaining than older content?
Moreover all the old content is not the classic version but the cata version. It’s quicker and more streamlined already and made to more or less fit the mold of being scaled up to 90 since every npc in the game is defaulted to specific stat thresholds at level.
You don’t know what kind of experience you’d get with MOP scaling VS Retail timewalking scaling. Moreover, I’d still take that over the mop heroics.
If you don’t like it that’s fine, but stop filling the thread with nonsense that is just your personal opinion and isn’t saying “this is a bad idea” it’s just saying ‘oh this is like xyz’ when by default it isn’t.
It’s a different entity because the expansion is different therefore gameplay is different therefore dynamics are different.
Abilities and scaling are different.
There’d be a totally different story if you guys could actually come up with some sort of a decent reason why this is a bad idea but instead you’re just blowing smoke.
It’s pretty cringe if you ask me because it isn’t constructive and you’re just trying to find ways to create arguments rather than dialogue.
Not to mention if you think the any of the vanilla/tbc/wotlk dungeons/heroics are “uninteractive ability hitting tank” you’re pointing out exactly why it would be hilarious to see your bloinking splort getting floor-pov’d by those same mechanics you make fun of.
TL;DR
You are literally a petulant child making non-arguments in place of constructive criticism to the idea.
What mechanics though? Your idea works for TBC onwards. It straight up doesn’t work for classic because there isn’t even a heroic mode for those dungeons. Also ZA/ZG weren’t even dungeon’s until Cata. They were raids.
Yes? It’s a demonstrable fact that every Pandaria dungeon is at least more mechanically exciting than pretty much every Vanilla dungeon, most TBC dungeons, and even some Wrath dungeons
You do realize only a couple of Vanilla dungeons have received reworks right?
They literally aren’t
??? Are you ok buddy? I thought this was just a casual conversation and suddenly you’re getting aggressive out of nowhere lol
No, for one reason:
Deadmines.
Ty for that
