Instead of the next dasdardly duos, spreading the light event etc PLEASE just make an ingame recruitment system that actually works for recruiting raiders who have likeminded goals for progression.
Stop filling the game with crap and just make systems that allow players to fill a 20 player group and progress the endgame content.
More people will stay subbed and we can maybe get some events that arent designed around regearing the people who quit because a system will be in place for them to get into a new raid group or fill a raid group instead of fighting the roster boss.
The roster boss is the only hard boss youve put in this game.
What kind of system would you like to see?

I would like to create a listing saying hey were on the 5th mythic boss and we raid at this time slot and be able to see players who meet those criteria to contact.
Id like the recruitment system to actually save my listing when i edit it.
Baloney. No one will be convinced with that.
That has been the realm of Trade chat for quite awhile. Most just create a macro.
But I see what you are saying, you want it to be similar to the LFG tool we have now, but instead of current groups, you want a Raid Team Browser.
Neat idea. Probably wouldnt take much to implement.

like it doesnt even literally work right now because you cant even edit your guild listing but ontop of that nobody is ever going through the guildfinder to find a raiding group. make something people actually use.
3 people leaving a group of 20 shouldnt be the end of a tier for the other 17 but it happens.

ive been on that discord and i left it because the people who ran it were jerks
one person in particular was rude as f about semantics of something and every player i found it on it was not reliable

It assists matching players with guilds. What more can you want?
You’re still going to have to talk to people. People will still flake or leave WOW for something else.
if your best defense about not having a proper recruitment system in game is the existence of a discord where some clowns choose who can and can’t post based on whether they got CE in the previous tier that’s pretty flimsy.
whatever ill run my 8 keys and spend my time week after week posting on the forums asking for a recuirment system that works.
Well yes, they want honest people.
You can’t claim you have CE as a guild, if you actually don’t.
One exiled raider doesn’t mean a guild is CE capable.
You can post in mythic, which is reasonable.
Not like the Discord is the only game in town, but anything Blizzard makes, I doubt will receive widespread use.
i guess i need a youtube channel where i just drive my point across week after week to get someones attention. i dont think it woudl reflect positively on the game though.
The recruitment forums on this website are rather decent.
Sometimes I’ve used it to find guilds.
You also have no point. There are multiple solutions to your problem.

Do it, it’s your only hope.
Don’t even have to do that honestly. I just turned on looking for guild on rio and wcl when I was looking for one and looked at dms and took my pick. Lot better experience than sorting through a laundry list of guilds. It’s a very easy process.
yes something like what is on rio but in the game and more streamlined and easy to use.
rio is the best tool for recruitment at the moment.

Even if Blizzard were to use it, it likely won’t be as good, and people won’t switch to it.
Like the in game guild finder technically works, but people don’t want to use it. Nor do they keep it updated, and people don’t look for guilds there.
I’ve used it to join my own guild that I created for my alts.

well if your best solution is that discord ill just stop you right there and say this games endgame community is rotten.
that discord was so full of players looking for boss kills ready to jump ship at the drop of the hat.
and there was no way to post anywhere on it to get traction as it was gated with previous tier CE requirements.
